When my husband and I first reached out to Amanda, it was simply for a venue analysis. We were both working full-time and knew we wanted to get married somewhere in Europe, but we didn’t have the time to research logistics, budgets, or venues on our own. For about a month, Amanda guided us through that entire process. Organizing options and helping us narrow down the right location. She was so organized and gave really good insight through that process that that we knew we wanted her as our planner.

I was never someone who found joy in the idea of planning a wedding, but Amanda made the entire experience effortless. We ended up planning a 100-person wedding in the South of France, and I can honestly say there was not a single moment of stress because of her. She was always quick to respond, she managed all the vendors, and she executed all of my ideas perfectly.

And that was just the planning.

During the wedding weekend itself, Amanda and her team were extraordinary. They ensured that every detail ran smoothly, across 3 full days of events, without a single logistical hiccup. Their attentiveness to our guests and their ability to keep the weekend flowing beautifully made all the difference.

Where to begin! My now husband and I always knew a planner was necessary to remove the stress from wedding planning and provide us with someone who could guide us through the complex (and competitive) process.

I found Amanda through a Google search and I am so happy that I did! From the moment we had our first phone call, I knew she would be the one who could not only execute my vision but could keep up with my intensity. We got married in Fall of 2022, a year full of competition for every vendor and venue available. The moment we signed our contract, Amanda was sending us lists of different options, on the phone with me any time I had questions or felt overwhelmed and was always available via text. The caliber of the vendor team and venue options Amanda was able to pull together were impressive - especially because not a single option was ever outside of my budget!

I signed up for full service planning which also included design. Amanda was able to talk me through everything I had added in my Pinterest boards, went back and forth with me on any items I was on the fence about and really helped me zero in on making the day feel authentic to my husband and I. My favorite thing about Amanda is how she was never afraid to call me out for coming up with ideas that were WAY out of budget (lol) but even when doing so, she always came with alternatives that would be within it.

The day of our wedding my husband and I were able to enjoy every single part of the day because Amanda and her team of wonderful planners were able to execute everything flawlessly.

Amanda, I know you do this every day but I want you to know that you truly made such an impact in my life and I will never forget you. Thank you for working so hard to make sure my wedding day was perfect and thank you to your team for bringing such wonderful energy.

Amanda and her team were highly efficient and professional. Even during one of the busiest wedding years, and one when Amanda was planning her own wedding, we never felt like we were not a priority for her during the whole process.
The communication at every step of the journey really stood out to us - we had a shared Google Drive folder where we could view and share price quotes, our design proposal, and a general planning timeline for us to stay on track. Super helpful as we planned our wedding from across the country! Amanda also adapted to the crazy backlog of post-quarantine weddings, proactively getting our vendors squared away well in advance so we could beat the rush.
I think the biggest testament to her coordination is that at least from our perspective, our entire wedding day went smoothly without any effort or worry from us. If anything had gone wrong, we must have been completely shielded from it. And at the end of the night, Amanda and Melissa had carefully packed up many of our miscellaneous decorations and had them ready to load into our cars. We are so glad that we hired AMV Weddings for full service planning!

These ladies are the best of the best .. very friendly and do an awesome job.. had them for day of coordinating and it was great to just let go and trust that they had it.. my vision came to life ! Change the name of this agency to “Glue,” because without them, there was no chance we would have held our event together. Having to call in AMV Weddings because of some rather stressful behind the scenes situations, Amanda, took matters into her own hands and made sure that our vision would be seen by anyone and everyone. Even more so, when Amanda had to step away from our event, she made sure we were in equally great hands with Brooke – who took everything we had and made it work. Not to mention that while you never know how much stress will actually be put on you, they are able to take what you’re directing them with in stride and get you whatever you need ASAP and whatever needs to be done even after. It’s hard to say that we’ve ever put such blind trust in a team and been completely blown away with every aspect of their work in making an event that felt so overwhelming going into it just the dream that we always envisioned. If you need anyone to make sure you hold it together on a day that you’re giving yourself to your partner – AMV is an “a must” vendor.

I wanted an outdoor whimsical fall wedding with tents, live music, flowers everywhere and food trucks. Amanda pulled off the greatest day of my life with grace. She is the intelligent articulate translator to any of your wildest Pinterest dreams. She is an expert in her field and incredibly kind. She helped navigate pricing, manage communications, and handled every hiccup with me ever having to worry about it. 10/10

From beginning to end, Amanda was the absolute BEST to work with. From our first phone call, she understood our vision and made the planning process so easy and fun! Brooke and Amanda were wonderful to work with. After postponing our wedding reception a couple of times due to COVID, we wound up upgrading our current contract with AMV, and could not have been happier with that decision. Amanda and Brooke handled all vendor communications seamlessly through our 2 postponements, getting everyone aligned on the new date and updating all contracts. We still held our ceremony on our original date, and Amanda put together a seamless and safe timeline, and was very flexible and patient with my indecisiveness about where to hold to ceremony. When it came time, 1.5 years later to finally have our reception, Brooke made sure that the day was as flawless as possible. I truly didn’t feel more relaxed and confident about how everything was being handled and executed. The entire day went by in a flash, but was certainly the (second) best day of my entire life! I appreciate the help, patience, and expertise that the AMV team brought to the table, and could not have put my wedding vision in better hands to execute.
