Working with Amina was wonderful. She was such a great photographer and captured all of our best moments. We got our pictures back quickly and the quality was awesome. The colors were so vivid and beautiful. She really exceeded all expectations!! Highly recommend Amina!

We hired Amina and a second shooter for eight hours of coverage on our wedding day. I liked her as soon as we met for coffee to discuss her services: she's smart, interesting, and very pleasant to be around -- which is really something you should prioritize in someone who will be a very constant presence on your wedding day! Her rates were very competitive and she didn't pressure us into doing an engagement shoot (not really our jam), but instead agreed to do a site visit at the venue before the wedding, which I thought was super helpful for both of us! On the wedding day, she kept me at ease, was clear in her directions, and got everything done efficiently. We haven't received our digital album of photos yet (the wedding was only a few days ago!), but from the previews she sent us I'm sure we made the right choice: she understood (and shares) my aesthetic and really made excellent use of the our venue space and its natural light. Amina is our wedding photographer for my wedding in NYC in October. I was a little hesitant at first to book her since Amina was new to the area, I had discovered her on Instagram, and didn't have many NYC clients. I am so happy we decided to go with our gut and book her. She has been beyond amazing since our first in person meeting! We did our engagement pictures in Dumbo in the freezing cold and she was a total champ and had some amazing ideas for locations like the "yes" wall and the famous brooklyn ice cream. Our engagement pictures came out amazing and everyone is telling us how much they love them on their fridge! I can't recommend her enough and cannot wait until she shoots the wedding in October.
