I absolutely loved Kathleen. She's a sweet person and was wonderful to work with. There were some things that happened out of her control but she worked tirelessly to make everything right, and to ensure we had the very best for our wedding. Can't wait to see the rest of our pictures.

We hired Kathleen's associate, Manu, for our wedding, and he did a wonderful job! Manu was really easy going and relaxed on the day of the wedding, and has a great eye for photography. Most of our communication leading up to the day was through Kathleen, and she did all the editing too (I really love her minimal editing style) -- she was a pleasure to work with and extremely responsive. We are so happy with how all the photos came out! It took about a month after the wedding to get the first preview, and then were really surprised when the full set came back less than two weeks after that. We also opted to get a roll of film and I was so happy with that decision -- the film photos are so beautiful and unique.

Kath from Amelya Jayne photographed my wedding, and I am so happy with the experience. She was very kind and accommodating throughout the entire process, and her photos are absolutely beautiful. I was stressed out on the day, and Kath was incredibly supportive, patient, and encouraging - she even went out of her way to help us out with little things like arranging my sister's shawl before the ceremony. A lot of our family lives overseas and was not able to attend, and I am so glad that we have gorgeous photos to document the day that we can share with them. I love how creative and unique our gallery is, in addition to having traditional group photos with our guests. We hired Kathleen and her second shooter Amelia for our September wedding at Cross+Main and were so impressed with the quality of work, professionalism, and fun we had working with them! We trusted Kathleen and she knew exactly what we wanted. She interacted with guests, directed wedding party members for formal photos, communicated with her second shooter, and checked with us to make sure we had every shot we wanted. Most importantly we had fun the WHOLE time! Not once were we stressed or worried.

Kathleen’s photography style focuses a lot on your connection and is more photo-journalistic and was perfect for our wedding. We really wanted our pictures to capture the feeling of us and guests on our wedding day and they captured them all so perfectly! Kathleen and Amelia also did a great job directing for the formal photos to keep the WP on track and helped us pose when we didn’t know what to do.

A MAJOR perk was the quick turnaround time in which we received our complete gallery and the communication after the wedding was over. Kathleen gave us a general idea of turn around time and kept us updated as she got close to finishing culling and the editing process.

We’ve attached some of our favorite photos from the night, but honestly there are too many to choose from (we are actually having trouble deciding which ones to get to hang on our walls). You don’t have the headache of having to try to find yet another vendor and the quality of the print shop’s work is amazing (bought a few prints so far and are deciding on a canvas at the moment). Working with Kathleen was great - she was so helpful scouting the location and setting us up with Jamie to photograph our special day. Jamie listened to what we wanted and produced a beautiful collection of photos that depict our love! We are grateful!

Kathleen is a wonderful photographer and we are so excited and happy that we were lucky enough to connect with her. She was very accomodating, talking with us over the phone to get to know us and meeting us in person when we came to visit. She was excited from the get go, and was very good at detailing the day for us and helping us decide the shots we wanted and how we wanted them taken. The day of the wedding she and her assistant were attentive and got a lot of pictures during the set up without being in the way. All the photos from the day are excellent, and she really knows how to get a good shot in light or dark with stills or movement. She was good at catching the small moments that weren’t planned. We also did our engagement shoot with her a week before the wedding, and all the photos were fun and turned out great. After the wedding, she also got us back both sets of photos quickly. Overall we are thrilled to have worked with Kathleen and have only wonderful memories.

I am going to start saying that I am a plus size bride, which makes me very insecure about my looks and my wedding day was going to be no different. Kathleen and her assistant made me feel beautiful and made me feel everything was going to look perfect in the pictures no matter what I was thinking about. They took care of taking pictures of every detail, every person, everything! When I got the email that my pictures were ready, I was scared of how I was going to look, and I ended up crying. I had never seen myself that way, I looked beautiful, every single picture is amazing, everybody looks beautiful and bright, all of them have details, surprised faces, emotions (and I am talking about 1,100 pictures!), I was so happy!
It was great having her by our side, she is so much fun and makes you feel so comfortable (we are not the best at posing!) but she went above and beyond to make sure we would have what we have dreamed of! She shared with me an interactive timeline before the wedding to make sure everything was going to flow as we wanted and then after the wedding I met with her in August to get the pictures from June and she gave them to me in the cutest box. Great prints and all the pictures in a pen drive (besides having them online).
Do not doubt about getting Kath to photograph your wedding, you will not regret it! She is the best!

Kathleen and her assistant were great! They were timely, enthusiastic, courteous and took some awesome photos! There were candid ones, documentary ones, posed ones... the list goes on. And she's just so darn friendly and easy to talk to too. I couldn't be happier. (Especially after we first went with someone else and it felt like we were being given a cookie cutter experience with no interest in our personal needs.) Anyways, in short, she's awesome!

Hey bride(or groom)-to-be!! Are you frantically searching through tons of wedding photographers, trying to find a talented photographer who can capture all candid fun of your big day without breaking you and your partner's bank? Well the search is over! My partner and I hired Kathleen for our wedding and engagement and are so thrilled we did (we have only had our engagement photos done so far, and our wedding is in September 2018)!

Kathleen is great to work with. Very friendly and chatty or directive if she needs to be, she will put you at ease in front of the camera. She likes to take the time to get to know you and your SO's story and personalities. You can easily tell this looking through her portfolio. I remember coming across her website and looking at all photos - I felt like I personally knew every single couple she captured since she did such a great job capturing all their emotion and personalities!

Kathleen's style seems to really focus on capturing emotion and a photo-journalistic feel rather than solely staged and posed photos, but she can certainly do both very well! This is exactly what my partner and I were looking for in a wedding photographer as we both really love having fun and enjoying the moment, but still needed someone who could direct us to be sexy and flirty.

She really has tons of options for any budget and will work with you to find what fits your needs. My partner and I really enjoyed being able to hire her daughter as our second shooter without going over our photography budget. Kathleen even has options to get your wedding photos back quickly without the normal 6-10 week lead time if you don't care so much about photo edits. She's very easy to reach and responsive - super for a bride who has a lot of questions like me! We went with her 7 hour package and hired her daughter for our second shooter.
