I bought my dress at the very first Bridal shop I tried dresses on at and it was by accident. A year and a half before my wedding (we had a 2 year engagement), my mom, niece and I went to Amelishan to just try on some dresses see what I might like. I'm not sure how long we were in the store, but that also included finding my mom 2 dresses that day. The sales consultant was very helpful, she showed us the layout of the store and what dresses we could find in the different areas. She picked a few dresses that she thought I would like based on my description and we were able to take our time and pick out dresses as well. I don't remember how many dresses I tried on, but it was the very last dress I put on...that was the one. I purchased the dress that day, thanks to the extra incentive of 10% off if I purchase the dress on my first visit. It was nice that Amelishan stored my dress for me until a couple weeks before my wedding. I didn't have to worry about it getting ruined or my fiance seeing it. All in all very good to work with.

I enjoyed every bit of my wedding dress experience at Amelishan. They were so friendly and patient when I was making my choice. I didn't even plan on buying my wedding dress the day that I went in there. I also got all my bridesmaid dresses from them as well!

I went in to my appointment very uneasy not knowing what to expect. Jane was incredibly helpful. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I couldnt be happier with the experience I had with them. I left there happier than i could have ever expected. Not to mention i found my perfect dress!! I recommend them to everyone! My two sisters and I all got our wedding dress from them. They are truly amazing!!

Went to try on mother of the bride dresses also to find capes for my daughter so excited to find the capes she wanted!! Also found a beautiful dress for myself

I purchased my wedding dress, veil, and bridesmaids dresses at Amelishan and was thrilled with their service. They were the first store I went to and they got us in without an appointment. They let me look through the dresses and choose as many as I liked, to get a sense of my style and what looked good on me. Although they had the dresses hanging out on the floor, was a much more intimate experience than places like David's Bridal (which I visited later) where you feel like you're in a department store. Amelishan is more like a boutique, and the staff were all very nice and helpful. I ended up buying the first dress I tried on at Amelishan, but not until I had shopped around at 5 other stores in Madison and Appleton. It took about 4 months to come in after I ordered it. I also purchased dresses for my 4 bridesmaids there and my veil. Actually, when I ordered my dress I also ordered a tulle veil, and when it came in it was more fluffy than I remembered (though it was the same thing I had ordered). I found another veil that I loved and the owner let us make the exchange, even though it was against their "official" policy. That kind of personal attention is why I'd recommend Amelishan to anyone.
Note: Amelishan is affiliated with a seamstress who works out of their store. We had her do our fittings and she did good work, though her personality was a little abrasive. I heard from a bridesmaid that her prices were a little high too, so I would consider shopping around for a seamstress.

My mom and I stopped in looking for a mother of the bride dress and maybe some accessories for my dress (purchased elsewhere). We found the perfect dress for my mom and then moved on to look at earrings, belts, veils, and hair clips. Everything I saw was "eh". When we were looking at a veil with lace we were concerned if it would look right with the lace on the dress. Our consultant (sorry I cannot remember your name) looked at the picture of the dress on my phone and found it in their stock. Not only did they let us see the veil next to the dress, she let me put on the dress and to try on the other accessories. What a different that made. I went from liking nothing to liking everything. Purchased a veil, belt, hair clip and a pair of earrings. Without the incredible offer to let me put on the dress (even though she knew I had purchased it elsewhere), I would not have made any of those purchases. It let me see the complete picture which made all of the difference in the world. Wish I would have found them sooner! I should also mention that we were there for over 2 hours - and not once did we feel rushed. I am not as found of their "no return" policy, but I am happy with my purchase.

Amelishan Bridal is an amazing place to go for all your wedding dress/tux needs. I went there not expecting to find my dress and I wanted to leave with five. I ended up picking the perfect one and from then on out that was the only place I went for the rest of that stuff. We got the bridesmaid dresses there, the bridesmaids and myself got all of our fittings done there and my husband and his groomsmen/fathers got their tuxes in the tux shop located at Amelishan. It was the perfect place for all our needs!

My saughter's dress was perfect! Costs were very affordable as they were for the grandmother of the bride! I would recommend this shop to any bride!
