Amanda photographed my partner and I's elopement ceremony in Bend and was able to accommodate us last minute. (long story) She was so thoughtful and invested in the best possible outcome.

It was a smokey day in late July and we originally had Sparks Lake in mind. Amanda drove up ahead of our scheduled time to find that it was too smokey to be ideal and instead recommended that we pivot destinations and head for Smith Rock. She had friends who live just outside of the entrance and they were able to confirm that the skies were clear before we made our way up there.

During the shoot, Amanda was so fun to work with and made it a really enjoyable experience. She was happy to ensure that specific shots that we were hoping for were covered during the shoot. The photos turned out phenomenally and she even delivered them to us sooner than she told us to expect. A+ experience. Cannot recommend Amanda enough!

We first met Amanda when she photographed our friends’ wedding, where we were in the wedding party. She was so great at keeping the chaos organized that we asked if she would be willing to photograph a wedding in California. We were sure she thought it was a joke, until we actually hired her to travel to our wedding. Our experience as members of the wedding party was memorable, and our experience as bride and groom exceeded every expectation. Because of the distance, we fussed around with zoom meetings in preparation and sent as many venue photos as possible, knowing that there would be almost no time for a tour of the venue prior to the event. But we never felt more comfortable leading up to the wedding. With Amanda, not only do you get a rockstar photographer, you get an experienced professional who understands the emotion and lifelong importance of every moment of a wedding. We received tons and tons of unsolicited positive feedback from our closest family and friends about Amanda. She was a constant source of support and positivity throughout the weekend. My only regret is that we live so far apart, if we could, we would have Amanda photograph all of our future family photos (we’re done having weddings though…one is enough).

Also, huge special shoutout to Edith. Edith was Amanda’s assistant photographer for the event and met us only the day before the wedding. We knew right away that we had the best team possible for our important day. Edith and Amanda worked seamlessly together, and Edith handled our “unique” family and friends with ease. You both are very special and will forever be part of our fondest memory 😊

We enjoyed working with Amanda for our engagement shoot and our wedding. She went above and beyond and was our main help hotline for wedding questions. Through difficulties of rescheduling due to Covid, Amanda was the most helpful person! She called vendors and used her connections throughout Central Oregon when things were seeming to fall apart. We loved her personality and the way she directed everyone to stay on track and be efficient. Her direct approach may not be for everyone, but for us, it was perfect. We love our photos and our friends even booked her for their wedding after being part of our bridal party. When we received photos, Amanda was more than happy to make additional edits as requested. We could not be happier with her service, communication, professionalism, and friendliness!

My partner and I decided to get the elopement package at FivePine Lodge in Sisters OR for our wedding in December, and they sent us a list of photographers we could use. We looked at Amanda's Instagram and instantly knew she was the perfect one for us (someone who uses pronouns on their profile goes a long way. We knew we were safe and well respected...not to mention stunning photos and a price we could afford). From day one of meeting Amanda we felt completely at ease and taken care of. We decided to have her do our engagement photo shoot as well. Both experiences went well beyond our expectations. Amanda's ability to provide clear and helpful direction throughout the shoot was unmatched by anyone else we've worked with. She is able to find the perfect light, the perfect angles, and unique setting to create images that speak to who you truly are. Not only was she the perfect photographer for us, but she took the time to offer heart felt support throughout our special day, and helpful direction on little details we hadn't even thought of. Our hearts lit up and tears filled our eyes when we we saw our photos. I felt like a winter faery Goddess, and my love finally felt his truest self was reflected here. Our most authentic selves were able to shine through because of Amanda's ability to capture us and our love so beautifully and truthfully. It was everything my love and I wanted and more. She made our wedding dreams come true, and our day so very special. We can't recommend her enough!

We had a small wedding in Shevlin Park, and Amanda gave us exactly what we were hoping for. Our photos had beautiful colors (and some black and white), and she was very easy to work with. I'd definitely recommend her for any occasion.

Amanda photographed my daughter's wedding and we just loved her. The wedding was a traditional church wedding and the reception was a large, casual, tented, outdoor affair in a beautiful setting. Amanda captured the beauty and the spirit of both settings. In going through our gallery, there isn't a photograph I can think of that I wish she'd gotten. They are just beautiful. My daughter and I were so pleased. Amanda is more than a photographer - she is a wedding expert, and was so helpful with little tips for the bride that made our day go so much more smoothly. She calms nerves and is so incredibly helpful. You can see from her website, that Amanda has shot so many different kinds of weddings in so many different settings. Her experience shows. She's also just a nice person who is fun to be around. I can't say enough. Just hire her. You won't be disappointed.

Amanda Photographic was amazing at our wedding, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an event photographer. When I started planning our wedding, the one thing I didn't really realize is how important the photographer is in structuring the entire wedding day schedule. Amanda clearly has this process nailed. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she communicated with us regularly to ensure that we were all on the same page as to what photos were important to take and when we should plan on taking them. On the day of, Amanda showed up with her team and a printed schedule in hand. From there on, I could just relax, because I knew she had the entire day under control. From getting me in position to walk down the aisle, to the task of herding large groups of mildly intoxicated family members to portraits, Amanda and her team did it all!

But aside from just organization skills, the "proof of the pudding" is clearly in the end result of her photos. They are all thoughtful and artfully composed. Amanda has an amazing ability to capture the actual emotions of the experience on camera; just looking at the pictures brings me back to what I was feeling that day. All our guests fawned over our amazing and artistic photos, and I know the pictures will be excellent memories for years to come. More personally, Amanda is a super kind and generous person that clearly loves what she does. I highly recommend Amanda Photographic, and I hope I have the opportunity to work with her in the future!

Initially, I was very anxious about having pictures taken, but my fiancee really wanted to have engagement photos professionally done. So, we met with Amanda beforehand to talk about logistics and about what we wanted out of our shoot. Her knowledge and recommendations really helped me to get a clear idea of what to expect. When we had the shoot, she was very encouraging and was able to bring out my and my fiancee's playful sides. Thanks to Amanda, I was able to move past the anxiety and have a good time with my fiancee, resulting in amazing pictures that we'll be able to look back at and remember good times. We had a very enjoyable, funny, and relaxing photo-shoot walk around the park with lots of laughing and love.

Amanda went above and beyond being a wedding photographer. She was willing to give advice and knowledge on all aspects of the wedding making sure that everything went smoothly.
