Amanda was great to work with as our wedding photographer. We booked her during COVID and she was open to a video call so we could see each other and get to know one another. Would definitely recommend - Amanda was responsive, professional, kind, organized. Was specific about getting all the photos I asked for and did a good job balancing getting them done efficiently and tracking people down for pictures, without being too pushy or aggressive. Worked well with our videographer and other vendors the day of. Went out of her way to help me that day as I was finishing getting ready, going over the schedule, etc. outside of what was asked of her with photos. Thanks so much Amanda!

Amanda was phenomenal throughout my entire wedding experience. Our original wedding was planned for the day after of the original covid "reopening"- so obviously there was a ton of last minute confusion. Leading up to the original date (before the shutdowns) Amanda was tremendously responsive and organized, her forms and experience made everything easy. Through the Covid wedding saga, she was so incredibly flexible and understanding, we ended up rescheduling at least 2 times before finally changing venues and plan to having a small ceremony only. Amanda was always the first to respond to my emails or calls confirming dates and changes. Needless to say, everything felt like a bit of a scramble.
Amanda came out to the venue with me a few days before the event to help talk through set up of tables and 'altar' so that the pictures would come out great (which they did).
On the actual day, she was invaluable. Amanda worked well within the small setting. She helped out with readjusting little things (like when we struggled a little lacing up the dress) and still got all the great staged and casual shots. She worked really well with my entire family, which included people who did not speak English, as well as a family member with advanced alzheimers. She made sure everyone was relaxed, and had a great eye for detail (eg, making sure masks were hidden and cellphones weren't in the mens' pockets). she also worked well with our videographer. Amanda knew exactly when to take charge, and when to stand back making everything go seemlessly. She was very open with advice from her experience when asked (and I asked alot!) but was by no means pushy or intrusive.
I'd also note that I looked through many many photographer samples before hiring because we have a very racially diverse family- I often saw other photos struggle to make sure the features of people of all skin tones really showed in the same photo. All of our photos came out amazing with everyone's smiling faces clear!
I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate her!

Amanda is literally AMAZING. You get clear communication, really great photos, and so so much more than what you ask and expect. She was able to relax us, make our day more organized and flow better, and overall go above and beyond just snapping pictures. You will not regret your choice of photographer with her! I'll start off by saying that she was the perfect person for the job. I got married on 08.17.2019, and it took me forever to find a photographer. My mother came across Amanda's website via the wedding wire and wouldn't stop taking about how great her photos are! So we called and she wanted to meet with us! As soon as we met (that was it) she was the perfect one for the job! She was the only photographer that wanted to meet and talk about the photos i wanted (poses, special photos, etc). Weeks before the wedding she checked up on me asking if i was ready for my big day and making sure we had everything covered (dates, times, checklist, etc). She was more prepared than i was! She checked off all the boxes and more.

-She was quick to get the photos done
-She got all the photos i wanted on my checklist done
-She was fun and making the bridal parties laugh while taking photos (so it wasn't awkward). My bridal party still talks about her till this day, saying "you really had a great photographer". Yes i know i did and i was so thankful for her on my wedding day. I couldn't imagine having anyone else as my photographer.
Having a huge bridal party such as I did (8 girls and 8 guys), i figured we wouldn't have enough time for all the photos i wanted but she did it! She was strict with making sure people were paying attention and again she would make things fun (never did anyone complain about her)! During the parties getting ready, the ceremony and reception she kept things moving along (WAY BETTER than my actual wedding coordinator did) . She made sure to get all the special photos (cake, vows, bouquet toss, etc) and she made sure she was front and center to get all necessary shots. For the price i paid and how GREAT she was and how amazing my photos came out, i felt like it was a steal (that i owed her more). All around she is an amazing person and an amazing photographer! There's so much more i can say but no room to fit it all great words i have for her. I guess what i'm trying to say is that i will no longer need to find another photographer because i will always get Amanda Doty to do any shoots in the future! Did i mention she stayed the entire time (from 10am (parties getting ready) all the way until 1230am (end of reception)) while pregnant! She didn't complain not once and she even put herself in some risky positions all to get the perfect shots for my big day! Again i will never need to find another photographer as long as she's a photographer...(she even did a small shoot during my first look of some sexy photos of my groom and I) and i figured that was going to be a bit awkward and it wasn't!!!! She's truly amazing!!! 1000% recommend!!!!

Amanda was amazing. She was very professional and kind. Made me feel at ease the entire day. She not only took amazing photos, but worked very well with the other vendors to ensure the day was perfect. She had great ideas for photo shots and we were able to get through the after ceremony pictures in a timely manner which allowed us to spend more time with family and friends. She took a lot of candid shots throughout the day which were great especially since I can barely remember everything that day it went so fast. Amanda will not disappoint as your photographer for any occasion.

From start to finish, Amanda was responsive and professional. I cannot recommend her enough. She was always available for questions before and after my wedding. Not to mention, the photographs are fantastic! My husband and I are so in love with them. The day of the wedding Amanda was punctual, professional, and just a joy to work with. Amanda Doty was amazing! Having her was a key component to my wedding being a success. She took great pictures of everything. Shes creative and super fun to work with. I would say she's definitely my go to photographer!!

Ask and you shall receive! Amanda worked with our hectic planning, even including a date change. She delivers a quality product and is extremely affordable. Amanda lives about 1 hour away and still made it on time, and was able to get all the shots we wanted in just 4 hours. Honestly wish we could have hired her for the entire night, her energy is just amazing!

To say we highly recommend Amanda to be your photographer would be an understatement! She 100% went above and beyond the day of our wedding. For lack of a better word, she gets $h*t done. Prior to the wedding, she worked around our schedule and location to help us plan everything out. My parents are also divorced so I was very pleased that she took that into consideration with her plans and made sure we got all of the photos we wanted.
The actual photos she took were exactly what we were looking for! Amanda has the “eye” for an incredible shot and didn’t find ourselves wishing for any other photos. She provided with us with a portfolio of about 1,000 photos to look through and I’m incredibly thankful! Amanda was fun, creative, and professional.
One of my favorite things about Amanda was that she went above and beyond as a photographer. She took on responsibilities very similar to an on-site coordinator. She helped corral people to where they should have been, kept me stress free, and when needed, spoke to members of our venue on my behalf. In addition, she made sure our table visits didn’t go on too long! We were able to visit every table, thank the guests, and take a picture with them in a timely manner. I’m sure we all have that family member that can pull us into lengthy conversations, and Amanda made sure that didn’t happen!
