If I could give any advice to anyone getting married in the Central Coast, it would be to hire Allison O'Hagan- no matter what your wedding budget is. Seriously, she was our wedding angel! Allison was our wedding coordinator for our Santa Margarita Ranch wedding. Allison stands our far beyond other coordinators in the area! We were able to get ahold of her right away. She is available for e-mail advice from the day that you hire her until the night of the wedding (a lot of the other coordinators would only do that for about $1,000 extra!). We probably e-mailed at least 100 times before the wedding! And every single time, Allison responded within the same day.
Allison was a very valuable source of vendor recommendations. We told her our budget for vendors that we still needed, & she gave us names of vendors that she had worked with in the past in our budget. This is how we booked the Ribline, DJ Andy Morris, & Fluid Bloom Florist...all people that I would highly recommend again!
On the weekend of the wedding, Allison was an angel. She led our rehearsal & did all of the set-up for the wedding day. Since we had a December wedding, we knew the weather was going to be a toss-up. Allison had a plan A & plan B set-up ready to go, & good thing she did because it rained our whole wedding day & everything had to be set up inside the barn! But that was nothing for Allison. She came prepared, & everything went without a hitch- not many people with a 150 person wedding on a rainy day can say this, & we owe it all to Allison. She set up all the decorations, handled the caterers/DJ/announcements, made sure everything was timed correctly, kept the heat lamps going, and she even served a plate of food for us herself! At least 1/4 of the guests noticed Allison's hard work enough to verbally complement us on hiring her. The best part was that my husband & I got to fully enjoy our wedding day, & I can honestly day it was because we had so much faith in Allison's abilities!
