Alexandra was such a wonderful day-of coordinator for our wedding last weekend. Even before the day-of, she helped us immensely by recommending awesome vendors. She was always easy to get in touch with and very responsive to all of our (many) questions. On the day of, she made sure that everything ran smoothly and on-time, even when we had a rather unexpected problem - one of the groomsmen got into a car accident (he was fine thankfully) and couldn't make it in time to walk down the aisle. We found out about this literally 5 minutes before showtime, but Alexandra was able to fix the lineup immediately. She was also the only one who could figure out how to bustle my dress, which was a huge lifesaver! After the wedding, everyone commented about what an awesome job she did.

As a hyper detail-oriented person with control-freak tendencies who spent a full year planning every single wedding detail, I was looking for a superb day-of-coordinator whom I could completely trust to take over the wedding so I could enjoy it without worry. I found this in Alexandra. I was fortunate enough to have her recommended to me by my fabulous florist (Lorinda from Sweet Talk Florals). She first impressed me with the amazing day-of schedule she created for us, which tightly structured the entire day. A month before the wedding, we touched base again and then few weeks leading up to the wedding as well as particularly the days before.

Alex was always there for us. She responded to every email and text, updated, flexed and enhanced every old and new detail in our plans, made great suggestions for how to run things smoothly, coordinated with all the wedding vendors etc. Because she was so organized and on top of things that I hired her on the fly a week before my wedding to run my rehearsal at the church as well - best decision I ever made.

Finally, she really showed off her skills on our wedding day, where she managed to run a 130 person wedding with 2 locations (Church + Reception) smoothly. She was everywhere and on everything that day, and yet managed to make me and my husband feel SO taken care of the whole evening - checking in on how we were feeling, getting us advil, water, drinks, food etc. whenever we needed. She took care of all our outstanding vendor payments on the day as well, took care of all the gifts, loaded all the remaining decorations, presents and alcohol into the car for us.

We also got compliments on how professional and lovely she was from all our family and friends, which was great. As my sister said to Alex: “You must be amazing if my sister hired you and is trusting you to run everything today.” You can’t go wrong with Alex, trust me, I’m the most particular and anal retentive bride. She’s awesome!

One of the many things we loved about her was her creative vision. Looking back at our wedding photos, I found myself saying over and over, “How did Alexandra think of that!!!”. When it came to our wedding décor placements whether it was candles or the polaroid photo station, or signs, we did not give Alex specific direction as we did not want to limit her creative vision. Everything she touched and placed turned into magic. Our venue was elegant, beautiful and whimsical.

Secondly, Alex thinks 10 steps ahead. Our favorite part was when she whisked my husband and I away for 10 minutes right after the ceremony into a private room so we can eat something but also so that we had a chance to breathe and really look at each other in the eyes and appreciate the big day. Weddings can be very overwhelming for the couple! We’re so happy she was able to provide this space in our timeline for us.

Our wedding was perfect, and even if something did go wrong, I never knew about it because I’m sure Alexandra took care of it with lightning speed improvising as needed. We love you Alexandra! And thank you again…
