My experience as a makeup artist includes television and film (HD), photography, corporate, live and special events, as well as bridal. I have worked with corporate clients on ad campaigns for print, television, film, web and billboard. You may have spotted some of my work on Fox News, the cover of Grand Rapids Magazine, the blog 100 Layer Cake and just recently I received the 2014 Couples Choice Award from WeddingWire. I am also a licensed cosmetologist.

The main reason I love makeup, is because of my need for creating art. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Art and Design, emphasis in oil painting. The transition from a career in fine art, to a career in makeup, happened naturally after college. I simply feel as though I switched canvases. Makeup is just as much an art form to me as my oil paints were.

During and after college, I also fell head-over-heels with the wonderful city of Grand Rapids, and couldn’t move away. I've lived here nearly 10 years now, and share a little cape cod with my fluffy kitty Periwinkle.
