Was initially impressed with how unique Sepkus jewellery is, reviews were equally great. So bought a Mini 62 engagement ring for my fiancee at the Leonardo's Jewellers in NJ.

The main problem is we are not from Europe. So when one of the many small diamonds fell out, we knew we are in trouble.

The retailer said they would fix it - all I had to do was to fly 7k miles and deliver them the ring lmao

Then tried contacting Sepkus NY themselves, since they have a partner gallery here in Lithuania. But there's even no valid e-mail of the company, just a contact form which apparently isn't working. Social media manager on FB responded ~a week after my message - assuring she'd forward the problem the the Repairs Department, and of course disappeared right after.

So ended up taking it to that partner gallery and paying them for replacing a missing diamond and repairing the ring. The worst thing? There are 16 more small diamonds in that ring. And since one fell out, we can't be sure about the quality and how safe is it to wear the ring.

A totally disastrous way to go about one's brand and reputation. Were they to solve this problem proactively and flexibly, I would have eagerly bought dozens of other pieces of Sepkus jewellery in the years to come. Now we are not touching it ever again and warning our social circle not to fall for their empty marketing promises as well.

My husband and I purchased an Alex Sepkus engagement ring through a local jeweler in Virginia. It was a beautiful ring and our jeweler helped us pick a beautiful sapphire to set. About 6 months after purchase, the band cracked. Our jeweler promptly sent it back to Sepkus where it was repaired and sent back in time for our wedding. Subsquently it has cracked in the same place *two more times* in the last year. Our local jeweler has sent it back twice, the last time strongly requesting the ring be replaced. Alex Sepkus apparently refused and sent it back "repaired" for a third time.

I do not do any heavy activity and take the ring off to exercise. My local jeweler at this point has offered to eat the cost of the ring and replace it themselves. My ring is exactly what I wanted but I really strived to only have really good caring vendors involved with my wedding and seeing as how your engagement ring is one of the few things that is tangible after the event, I'm very dissapointed that we ended up picking a ring by this designer.
