Welcome to Affairs of the Heart Events: A Planning and Coordination business. Let me introduce myself. My name is Shannon Garst and I am the owner and operator of Affairs of the Heart Events. I have been married to my husband, Frank for almost 20 years (yes, we were high school sweethearts) and have two children. Our oldest, a son, is a freshman at college while our daughter is a junior in high school. My alma mater is Pepperdine University where I received both my Bachelor’s Degree as well as my Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling. Both my husband and I have spent our entire lives in the South Bay Area and in fact held our own wedding and reception in the great city of Torrance.
