He has a degree in classical guitar, and he works as a professional musician and music educator in the Twin Cities since 1998. His guitar repertoire consists of a large selection of well known classical guitar pieces, renditions of popular American jazz standards, Beatles songs, variety of international music styles such as bossa nova, flamenco, tango, Gypsy jazz, and much more. Wonderful part of our wedding experience

We originally hired Pavel to play during the ceremony for the large wedding that we planned for our daughter at Loring Social. Due to the pandemic, we had to make a quick switch to an intimate backyard ceremony and reception instead. Pavel was absolutely terrific at remaining flexible and worked with us to help select appropriate music ahead of time.

When we were ready to celebrate, Pavel's music made our celebration so much fun! Everyone from the bride and groom to siblings to parents to elderly grandparents raved about Pavel and his music. He truly helped us enjoy this occasion to its fullest. I look forward to hearing Pavel play soon!

Excellent Addition to our Wedding

My husband and I planned our wedding ceremony at virtually the last minute, and I did not know whether I'd be able to find a musician to play live at our small backyard ceremony and cocktail hour on short notice. Nobody I found who was still available could play for a price that was within our budget for our 40-person event. I am so thankful that I came across Pavel and was able to hire him. He got back to me right away to say he was available for the time of our event (he had a schedule conflict later that evening) and he scheduled a time to talk with me over the phone that very night to discuss details. He handled everything so professionally and was easy and pleasant to work with. I selected the processional and recessional music from his list, and he assured me he could fill in the prelude and cocktail hour music based on what I liked, which he did perfectly. My brain was so overloaded with things to do that having Pavel stepping in to take care of music with minimal input from me and my husband was wonderful.
He charged far less than I would have assumed it would cost, showed up early to get set up (all he needed was an outlet to plug into) and his professionalism and calm demeanor were a balm after all of the rush and stress of preparing for the wedding.
Everyone commented on how they loved the music, and Pavel's playing really was the element that made it all come together. We would hire Pavel again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Addition to Our Reception

We were seeking some special music to help set the tone for our wedding reception and dinner, and Pavel was the perfect choice. He blended beautifully into the event and setting, being the master professional that is. He played a variety of music flawlessly and with feeling, and he was considerate and easy to work with from start to finish.

Backyard wedding

Added class to diy Backyard wedding. Pavel was excellent and definitely worth the money.

- He learned two songs specifically for our ceremony. These songs were special to us and made the ceremony memorable. He played them perfectly.
-He showed up in plenty of time to Be prepared for ceremony and played music while guests were getting seated. His choices for this music fit the vibe perfectly.
- He was respectful of guests and our special COVID requests for social distancing / mask wearing.
- Very reasonable Price compared to other ceremony musicians.
-We didn’t notice any downsides to having a solo artist vs a quartet or singer/instrumentalist. He was able to provide exactly what was needed for the ceremony.

Professional and great entertainment

I had Pavel play classical guitar at my wedding ceremony and reception on 10/14, and I could not be more pleased. He was very responsive with email and phone conversations (I was out of state), and he was able to tailor his music to my needs.

Besides his professionalism and expertise with guitar, he was able to coordinate a processional piece for my entrance down the aisle with my friend who sang vocals (no prior meeting).

He catered to my every wish, and his performance with his guest musician (John Croarkin [sax, flute, etc]) was a highlight at my reception. Many guests have since commented how wonderful the duo sounded, as well as how much they added to the overall ambiance.

Pavel’s music was marvelous. He played such beautiful pieces & even a few surprises. He is incredibly talented playing everything from classical guitar songs to the Beatles & Led Zeplin. I would highly recommend him!! Everyone raves how wonderful he played. Definitely made our special day even better!
