Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Heartsrings is a music duet for weddings and private events. Julia and Joe Peterson are a married couple who find joy in performing for newlyweds and their guests. Together they play a range of instruments including piano, cello, guitar, organ, and vocals. Julia is a classically-trained cellist with degrees from Dartmouth College and Boston University. Joe started playing professionally in Minneapolis clubs when he was just 13 and has since toured internationally as a multi-instrumentalist. After playing at their own wedding, they wanted to share their love of music with others on their special days. With over 30 years of combined professional music experience as multi-instrumentalists, this duo is comfortable playing multiple genres of music in any setting.
