About

Accelerator Space is a wedding and event venue in Baltimore, Maryland. They are located near Baltimore City’s Belvedere Square Market, close to shops, dining, and entertainment. The space is a repurposed auto dealership more than 90 years old. It has an industrial chic design paired with modern amenities.

Facilities and Capacity
The main room accommodates 275 guests for a seated dinner and 375 guests for a cocktail reception. The newly remodeled Den can be added to the main room rental for extra space. The main room is 1,600 square feet and features reclaimed lumber paneling, a large skylight, restored wood floors, exposed brick, and a gas fireplace. Accelerator Space also has a hidden rooftop patio that features bistro lighting. It can accommodate 65 guests for a seated dinner and 100 guests for a cocktail reception.

Services Offered
Rental of Accelerator Space includes free parking with a valet option, tables and chairs. You can host your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and other wedding events in their flexible space. The comfortable and unique space is a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos. Their staff works with you to ensure all your needs are met and your space is ready for a flawless wedding day.

Awesome Venue

Such a great venue. The bright industrial space is so easy to decorate with florals and uplights. It was simple to partition the room with a drape to have our ceremony and reception on-site. We got many compliments from guests about the space. Staff was easy to work with. We did not reserve the Den area, but it is a nice option to add on if you want to. If you’re looking for an open, industrial space in Baltimore for your wedding or other big event - we highly recommend this one!

Great Venue!

The Accelerator Space was the first venue we looked at for our November 2023 and we loved everything about it. Owner is responsive and easy to work with. Venue is beautiful and there are so many options for floor plans, decorations, etc.

Great experience

We booked this venue after a tour with Johnathan during covid. He was accommodating with us when we moved our date due to covid and was very responsive from touring until the wedding day. Everything went smoothly with vendors we were able to use our own but the parking and catering has to be from their approved list. There really isn't area parking so you'll have to valet the cars or have shuttle transportation so keep that in mind for your budget.
Two minor inconveniences were we had to remove all decor that night. It's something you have to coordinate one so someone is sober and you need a vehicle large enough to move the items at once, we were aware of this before hand. It would be helpful if they had a storage space to keep items until the next day. Also there's a neighboring apartment who had bulk trash out that was an eye sore but not the accelerators fault.
All in all we lovedddd the aesthetic of the venue and its large capacity with the options to add another room. The ease of communication and the pricing.

Amazing Value + Cool Space = Great Time

Accelerator Space was the first venue we looked at...and it was an easy decision. The vibe suited us perfectly. We loved having a dedicated space for the ceremony, an outdoor area for cocktail hour, and a massive, flexible space for the reception. Communication with Jonathan was quick and easy.

Unforgettable Wedding Day - 10/01/2022

Accelerator Space proved to be the best option for our wedding. Jonathan was very responsive and quickly answered all of our questions throughout the planning stages. The great thing about this venue is you can create your own vision. Additionally, there is a rain plan, which all couples worry about on wedding day. This venue is a true gem!

The perfect space!

Jonathan is so nice and made the booking process so easy. He really helped us understand how would could transform the room to fit our event. Our guests had such a great time and we were so happy with how the space looked

Beautiful Venue

We had our wedding on November 5,2022 at Accelerator Space. It was a beautiful venue that you can really create your own vision. We had our ceremony on site in there den space and it made it feel very cozy. The weather was great for November 77 degrees!! Alot of our guests ended the night on the patio.

Absolutely gorgeous

We had our wedding here and had an amazing time! You cannot beat the beautiful windows and hardwood floor. We did get both rooms- the main room for ceremony, to the den for cocktail hour, and back to the main room for reception. It worked perfectly and we used the patio too during cocktail hour! Parking wasn’t an issue since valet is required- they handled all the parking. Jonathan was very helpful and responsive. The only slightly annoying thing is that LED candles are required unless in the center of a six foot table for our contract. But it wasn’t a big deal for us. Definitely was worth it to rent both rooms. I hope I get to attend another wedding here one day!

Exactly what we wanted!

My husband and I looked at several venues across the DMV area and we knew the moment we walked into the Accelerator Space that we found our wedding venue. From the natural light to the incredible wood floors to the industrial accents – it is a gorgeous space. It also provides a beautiful canvas that every couple can really make their own. The patio was perfect for our ceremony and the main room was able to be converted to work for both our cocktail hour and reception. Jonathan was absolutely wonderful to work with and we are so grateful for how he helped us to navigate the rescheduling process through COVID. We did our after party at Full Tilt Brewing – having it attached to the Accelerator Space is just an added bonus. We highly recommend the Accelerator Space to other couples!!

Beautiful modern location!

This venue is naturally beautiful. I had minimal decorations and it just looked beautiful. From the beautiful hardwood floors, the outside patio, and then silver wall-- it was my dream venue. Jonathan was so understanding when dealing with COVID issues.

From an access issue, it's really nice if you have older family members that there's a ramp right up to the venue and there aren't stairs. The ramp also serves as a nice sparkler send off picture. The back area is perfectly set up for your caterer. And it doesn't hurt that it's right next to Full Tilt for an after wedding drink. Bathrooms were clean, there's a coat closet. Couldn't have been happier with this venue and experience!
