Great experience
We booked this venue after a tour with Johnathan during covid. He was accommodating with us when we moved our date due to covid and was very responsive from touring until the wedding day. Everything went smoothly with vendors we were able to use our own but the parking and catering has to be from their approved list. There really isn't area parking so you'll have to valet the cars or have shuttle transportation so keep that in mind for your budget.
Two minor inconveniences were we had to remove all decor that night. It's something you have to coordinate one so someone is sober and you need a vehicle large enough to move the items at once, we were aware of this before hand. It would be helpful if they had a storage space to keep items until the next day. Also there's a neighboring apartment who had bulk trash out that was an eye sore but not the accelerators fault.
All in all we lovedddd the aesthetic of the venue and its large capacity with the options to add another room. The ease of communication and the pricing. -

Amazing Value + Cool Space = Great Time
Accelerator Space was the first venue we looked at...and it was an easy decision. The vibe suited us perfectly. We loved having a dedicated space for the ceremony, an outdoor area for cocktail hour, and a massive, flexible space for the reception. Communication with Jonathan was quick and easy. -

Unforgettable Wedding Day - 10/01/2022
Accelerator Space proved to be the best option for our wedding. Jonathan was very responsive and quickly answered all of our questions throughout the planning stages. The great thing about this venue is you can create your own vision. Additionally, there is a rain plan, which all couples worry about on wedding day. This venue is a true gem! -

We had our wedding on November 5,2022 at Accelerator Space. It was a beautiful venue that you can really create your own vision. We had our ceremony on site in there den space and it made it feel very cozy. The weather was great for November 77 degrees!! Alot of our guests ended the night on the patio. -

We had our wedding here and had an amazing time! You cannot beat the beautiful windows and hardwood floor. We did get both rooms- the main room for ceremony, to the den for cocktail hour, and back to the main room for reception. It worked perfectly and we used the patio too during cocktail hour! Parking wasn’t an issue since valet is required- they handled all the parking. Jonathan was very helpful and responsive. The only slightly annoying thing is that LED candles are required unless in the center of a six foot table for our contract. But it wasn’t a big deal for us. Definitely was worth it to rent both rooms. I hope I get to attend another wedding here one day! -

We unfortunately didn't get to host our wedding at Accelerator Space due to COVID-19. Despite that, we couldnt' have asked for a better experience. Jonathan was flexible when we rescheduled our event and so kind when we chose to cancel the entire thing. While it's disappointing to have to cancel your big, fancy wedding due to a pandemic, it's vendors like Accelerator Space that make it not seem so terrible. -

We were married in February 2020 and we are still smiling! Jonathan made the entire booking process so easy. He made sure to answer all our of questions very promptly, provide us with vendor referrals (such as lighting or valet) when requested, he was open to tours to make sure our vision was everything we wanted and was very professional throughout the process. The Accelerator Space was just the industrial look we wanted while feeling so cozy. We would definitely recommend using the fire place room as well! It was so beautiful at night to look into. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience with Jonathan and our guests really enjoyed the venue. The valet service worked out wonderfully and without a backup for our 165 guests. We would highly recommend booking for an amazing experience. -

From the moment we toured the venue, I knew I wanted to get married here. It’s a beautiful space that allows you to transform the rooms to how you envision it on your wedding day. We worked with Jonathan throughout the process. He answered all of our questions and was very helpful with giving us suggestions of how past couples set up the space. If you want a unique wedding spot that you can truly make your own, I highly recommend choosing Accelerator Space! -

This industrial chic spot was a perfect choice for our venue. The open space with gorgeous hardwoods, mostly original, and the large windows and skylight provided a perfect venue for what I had envisioned. The team was easy to work with and very responsive. The Perfect October Wedding
The Accelerator Space is a gorgeous venue! I was so impressed and intrigued by how versatile this space was. This was the first and only venue my husband and I actual looked at and we booked it the same day. It was perfect! Jonathan and his team were absolute AMAZING and extremely helpful. Anytime I had questions, Jonathan was more than happy to help. Because of this, once our final walk through came around it was a breeze. It's safe to say that once our wedding day was here it was absolutely perfect! Everything went smoothly, all the vendors were on the same page, and I had no complaints! -

This was the perfect location and venue for our industrial Baltimore wedding. We had the ceremony and reception at the Accelerator Space, it was the perfect size for our 120 guests. Since the space is so open, we were able to completely customize the space to fit our needs. Jonathan was great to work with and made the process easy from start to finish. Would recommend to anyone looking for a unique industrial space in the Baltimore area. -

I am so glad we had our April wedding at the Accelerator Space. The space has amazing character with large windows, wood floors and sky lights. It’s stunning with or without a lot of extra decor. We brought in cafe lights over the dance floor and rented furniture to create a seating area by the fireplace in the extra den space, but kept everything else pretty simple. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined! Everyone we worked with at the venue was very accommodating to any of our special requests. -

One of the best wedding decisions we made
I stumbled across the Accelerator Space in a Google search when they were still a very new venue. My fiance and I were looking for a venue that allowed us to have our ceremony and reception in one cool spot in the city. Not an easy thing to do while you've got a budget to be conscious of. We came away from our first walk-through and couldn't believe our luck at finding nearly everything we could have asked for in one venue that was the best value for our money. Jonathan's team were professional, responsive, and always seemed to be really enjoying all parts of their jobs. Our friends and family were blown away by the space and we're still getting compliments months later. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with a sense of history and purpose, you've found it in the Accelerator Space. -

Best option all things considered
Jonathan was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. We would have our wedding here again in a heartbeat. At first, we were a little disappointed that there was a list of preferred vendors, but it ended up working out in our favor because they knew the space so well-- we hardly had to do anything. We received so many compliments from our guests!! -

This place is INCREDIBLE! It is big, empty space that you can totally make your own. It has amazing natural lighting, wood floors, high ceilings, and endless possibilities! We had bistro lights above the dance floor, and it made the venue complete. Jonathan, the building manager, is so flexible and so responsive--it is unlikely that you will work with someone more knowledgeable or respectful. He will do anything he can to make sure that your event is perfect! We used all of the available spaces-the main room, the den, and the patio, and they were all beautiful. We knew right when we walked in that this was the venue for us. Such a reasonable price, and we couldn't ask for more. -

We loved having our wedding at the Accelerator Space. It provided the perfect blank slate for our modern wedding decor. We had 100 guests and had plenty of space for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception to all take place in one large room. The lobby area and bathrooms were very nice, too. It was unfortunately to chilly to use the patio, but it's a great space that we would've loved to use for our ceremony or cocktail hour, had we gotten married earlier in the season. Leading up to our wedding, Jonathan was super responsive. We also really enjoyed working with the vendors who work downstairs in B-More Kitchen. Would totally recommend the Accelerator Space to anyone looking for something modern, industrial and totally Baltimore. -

When I started the venue hunt I knew I wanted an open, loft space, natural light, and something that felt like Baltimore. We struggled to find a location in Baltimore that checked all of these boxes, fit our budget, and just felt like "us." The moment I saw Accelerator Space, I knew it was our venue. I barely got in the main room before I looked at my mom and said I loved it. Your venue can really make your event, and ours certainly did. Jonathan, the venue contact, was prompt and detailed in his replies. As early clients, he was flexible with our requests. Jonathan even made an appearance on our wedding day to ensure things were running smoothly. I can't say enough about the space itself. I had such a blast in the year leading up to our wedding, watching all the ways other couples transformed the space into something totally different than what we were dreaming up -- it's so versatile! If you're looking for a moderately priced (but worth every penny!), beautifully crafted, loft-style, urban chic space in Baltimore, this is it. -

After searching for what seemed like ages for a reception venue for our January wedding, we stumbled upon Accelerator Space and immediately knew I needed to see it. Jonathan was quick to respond and answered all of our initial questions before setting up a tour. The second I stepped into the space I was in love. After the tour we decided to book it and had zero regrets. We loved how it turned out, everything was well coordinated on the day of and went off without any issue. We received tons of compliments on the space and how beautiful and different it was from a typical wedding reception venue! -
Mike Sent on 04/08/2018We got married at the Accelerator Space in Dec 2017. We were the lucky ones that got the surprise 6 inches of snow in early December. Lucky for us, Jonathan at Accelerator had everything taken care of- The venue was salted and shoveled all night. The venue it self is an incredible blank canvas that can be made into your unique wedding of your dreams. They do have tables / chairs / everything you need to host a wedding there; however, we opted to bring in outside vendors for farm tables and other rentals. They're very flexible with who you use as vendors which was ideal for us. The room looked great and we got some really good pictures there. It was a great place to have our special night!

There is an outdoor patio area where you can host your ceremony (if you're getting married) and the inside is enormous and you have the freedom to make it be what you want. This is a beautiful blank slate that you can cater towards your vision. My husband and I LOVE it having our wedding here.

Andrea Sent on 03/05/2018Our event at Accelerator Space was absolutely perfect. Its industrial-chic aesthetic provided just the right atmosphere for our daughter's bat mitzvah celebration. Easy load-in for our caterer, DJ and vendors, huge space with lots of unique details and convenient access for guests of all ages. The restrooms and coatroom are clean and spacious. The management was very responsive to our needs throughout the entire planning process, and provided lots of helpful suggestions along the way to make our party flow smoothly. This venue is an incredible value, delivering a major "wow" factor for your guests. Highly recommend. -

Beautiful venue!
When looking for a venue, we definitely wanted a "cooler" venue. The Accelerator Space was one of the first venues we found, and as soon as we stepped inside we were in love with the building. It is so beautiful and open, we loved the high contrast of the white brick walls with the black trim all over. The venue has beautiful finishes and you can tell Jonathan is very proud of the building being restored the way it was, as he should be!
Jonathan was very easy to work with, he is very particular with what he allows and doesn't allow in the building, but once you realize this it is smooth sailing. He was very helpful with any questions I had during the process and was extremely responsive to emails. Many vendors wanted to see the space to get an idea of the building as they hadn't worked there before, he was always very accommodating when I emailed him last minute to get a time set up.
We used the den for our cocktail hour, it is a beautiful, warm space and the fireplace is gorgeous. We had just under 150 people at the wedding and I wouldn't recommend much more than that for cocktail hour in that space. It was comfortably full with some spill over into the hallway. I wouldn't want to fit more than 175 at maximum, I think.
The venue fit our theme perfectly! I was nervous as most pictures you see of the building are spring/summer weddings and ours was very winter with lots of velvet and dark colors. The industrial building was perfect with our warm/ romantic color palette and provided the perfect juxtaposition.
This is a venue that can be dressed up or kept clean, the perfect backdrop for any wedding! -

Dream come true!
I can't even tell you how perfect Accelerator Space was for our wedding reception. The place is stunning - gorgeous floors, endless windows, and skylights. Jonathan was great and super easy to work with. So many people are still telling me how beautiful the space was. It's a blank slate, but has so much character already. I wish I could go back and relive everything! If you have a big wedding (my guest count was 240). I highly recommend getting the "bonus room/den" for cocktail hour. Logistically, it worked out perfectly - and the fire place was such a nice touch!! The patio is amazing too. If you can't tell, I'm more than obsessed with this venue! -

I don't think I could have loved the Accelerator Space anymore that I did for our wedding in September. As any bride, I had a million reservations about all the details of the wedding over the year we were planning. In spite of all of them, I can honestly say, my gut reaction to the Accelerator was my first, and best decision I made when it came time to the wedding (Despite, choice in partner *wink*). At the beginning of the process I was a bit hesitant because there seemed to be a lot of caveats with the space, but that was just nerves, and Jonathan was more than happy to oblige a couple requests once it got closer to the wedding, that logistically made our lives a lot easier! I do suggest budgeting for the additional cafe lighting in the main hall since it is not part of the included features. If there is another wedding happening the same weekend as yours, check to see if the other couple might want to double up on the fee's for the whole weekend as opposed to you paying for a one night install.
The space was clean and bright, and having to work with the preferred vendors, ensured that move in happened quickly and efficiently.
There is a room in the bottom of the building that you can use as a stow away space for bride and groom/belongings. While the room was perfectly efficient for what I had planned on using it for, not having a designated bridal suite for getting ready or last minute pampering was kind of a bummer, but a 100% manageable work around. I think I was more or less upset about that due to some other extenuating circumstances from my mother, but I won't get into that...
Anyway, I want to be selfish, and think my wedding was the most special, and that no one else can have a wedding like mine, and the venue is off limits, BUT that would be completely unfair. Every Bride deserves their fairy tale wedding, and this space is the perfect backdrop for any aesthetic, and any love story that decides to book. -

We had guests say it was truly the most beautiful venue they’d ever seen. Jonathan could at times be a little high-strung, but overall was pretty easy to work with.
