We reserved a room block and hosted an after party and farewell brunch for our wedding on the weekend of 10/18-19/2025 at the AC Hotel Worcester. After contacting several other hotels in the Worcester area, we determined that AC Hotel was the best fit given its beautiful accommodations, prime location, on-site parking garage, proximity to our wedding venue, and options for hosting events. We initially reached out for a courtesy room block alone and worked with Sarah on securing this. Sarah was very responsive, informative, and kind. She gave us options for an after party and brunch which we eventually did end up booking. The after party was held at the hotels main bar for a small fee to keep the bartenders around. At Sarah’s suggestion, we added some pizzas to the afterparty, and it was a great idea. People were really happy to have that food at the end of the night, so much so that we actually ran out really quickly! The brunch the next morning was delicious and held in one of the ballrooms. It was set up buffet style and we liked how casually our guests could come in and out as they pleased. Sarah was really helpful throughout the planning process and helped us to hand out welcome bags to all guests upon check in. The hotel also provided us with an easel for signage for both the afterparty and the brunch. We truly could not have picked a better hotel for our wedding weekend room block, afterparty, and farewell brunch!

The AC Hotel was the perfect spot for our Worcester wedding weekend and we would recommend anybody to consider them if you’re getting married in the area. The hotel is new, modern, and has an elegant feel to it. It is also centrally located in downtown Worcester and steps to many popular locations. We held our cocktail hour and wedding reception at the hotel in September, for 170 people, and we also held a room block of about 50 or 60 rooms for the event.

The AC nailed every little detail for our event. The event coordinator, Courtney, was wonderful to work with and paid attention to all of our needs while offering advice, suggestions, and worked with us through any issue that came up. There was more than reasonable flexibility for all of our special requests, whether it was an alteration to the menus, accommodating food allergies, or working our room layout. The food was remarkable and the kitchen and wait staff executed the timing of service with perfection. The bar staff were equally great in moving the lines along and tending to our guests needs. The hotel staff were excellent at handling our guests and - despite the fact that there was another wedding block that weekend with the almost exact last name (literally a 1 letter difference) - there was never a mixup in attending to our guests or distributing welcome bags.

Some other details: the bridal suite comfortably handled 11 women for hair and makeup, and the catering was on time and with excellent food. The lobby has a beautiful fireplace for group pictures. The outdoor tent and Wachusett ballroom were more than spacious for our guest count - the ballroom looks great fully decorated and we recommend adding uplighting to make it really pop (purple worked well for our event.) Finally, AC is a Marriott property and the staff are backed by the large corporate resources: we were ensured that they could support anything we needed and, if anything unexpected happened, that they would be able to accommodate us - this was particularly reassuring coming out of the pandemic, when we were forced to cancel with another venue. We chose the AC Hotel for our 8/20/2022 wedding. We could not be happier with this venue!!! The hotel is beautiful, modern, and clean. Parking is easy and many great things Worcester has to offer are within walking distance. The staff are friendly, helpful, and made sure that we and our guests had a comfortable, fun, and memorable experience. One of the reasons we were drawn to the AC were the many positive reviews about Courtney and let us tell you, she does not disappoint!!! She was a tremendous help from the time we toured/booked the venue to the day of the wedding. She was so personable, responsive, detailed, and organized. She truly helped us achieve our vision for the day which was such a big success. Our family and friends are still raving about it and we could not have done it without Courtney. We also met Sarah the weekend of the wedding and she too was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. Bennett the lobby bartender was exceptional. He could keep up with and please any crowd (ours was a big one!!). The food was delicious and the servers and bartenders were fabulous. We cannot say enough about our experience and will definitely be back to visit. Thank you to Courtney, Sarah, Bennett and all the other amazing staff at the AC Hotel for helping us with the best weekend of our lives!! 🤍

If you’re thinking of having your wedding here…DO IT! Courtney and all the staff at the AC Hotel went above and beyond. Everything was absolutely amazing and my guests are raving about how awesome the entire wedding was! Courtney answered hundreds of emails from me very promptly and she is so kind and helpful! I can’t recommend this place more!

My daughter’s wedding was held this past weekend at the AC Worcester Marriott and it was perfect! The hotel is clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. The suites were large enough to have our hair and makeup done without leaving the floor we were on. From rehearsal on Friday night to Sunday morning brunch the hotel and staff was exceptional! The meal was delicious, desserts were yummy and the drinks were not watered down. The bar ran smoothly without anyone waiting in a long line for a drink. Courtney Maleakas, the event coordinator, is phenomenal! We had some very stressful glitches a few weeks before the wedding and she had fantastic solutions allowing us to relax before the wedding. She had all the rooms set up beautifully with all our decorations set up exactly how we wanted them. From the minute we walked down the aisle we were able to enjoy ourselves without a care in the world thanks to her and her staff. ( a big shout out to Jessica, a member of the waitstaff, who took care of us all weekend!). Thank you Courtney and staff for making my daughter’s wedding everything she hoped to would be and more!

I had my wedding here and this hotel was exceptional! Courtney, the event director is SO EASY to work with. She made sure we met deadlines, covered every detail, and on the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly! The hotel staff is so friendly and the food is AMAZING.
Our guests said parking was really convenient and there was plenty to do in the area during downtime.

The AC Hotel in Worcester was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration! Courtney was outstanding and ensured everything was well thought out and executed. The food was absolutely delicious and all of the staff were extremely accomodating. I would highly recommend the venue!

I hosted my wedding at the AC hotel Worcester this past August, 2021. This venue, staff and the event director Courtney were top notch! I planned the entire event only 5 months ahead of the date and everything went off without a hitch. Courtney helped me every step of the way by providing vendors, being very responsive to all of my questions, and being a HUGE help the day of my wedding! She was so personable and easy to work with.

The venue was my style and the price was extremely reasonable. We hosted a post-wedding lounge the night of and a brunch the morning after. The day of and morning after the wedding went very smoothly and all of our guests kept telling us how good the food was and how much fun they had. Honestly I don’t have any complaints and would recommend to a friend!
