I called around to a few places and Able has the best prices AND everything that I wanted. One stop shopping. They set up a 30 x 60 tent in my yard, with lights and a dance floor. They set up a trailer restroom which was clean and had water in it, toilet paper and paper towels plus baskets in each side with things you might need at a wedding--powder, deodorant, dental floss, tissues, etc.
The crew came and talked over placement of the tent before starting and worked quickly.
Everyone was helpful--Alicia in the office, as well as anyone else who may have answered the phone or my several e mails. They did not try to upsell me on anything, and assured me that based on numbers, the tent was the right size.
They picked the equipment up promptly on Monday. I would definitely recommend this company and will most likely use them again!

I used Able Smith Tent for my June 2nd wedding. They went above and beyond to help me with the planning process and in the end it all went very smoothly. My linens were pressed, the colors were perfect and they delivered and picked up exactly as promised. They helped turn my visions into reality and I couldn't have been happier with the way everything turned out. They also had the best prices of any of the other vendors that I contacted. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

The tent was set up as promised the Wednesday before the wedding, along with tables, chairs and linens. The rest room was also set up as promised. Everything was beautiful for our day! We appreciate how well Able Smith Tent helped!!!

Prices were great! Crew was amazing unfortunately they had to work in the rain and in the duck setting up for my wedding,. But they got it done! And they were great about it. Thank you very much Able Smith Tent!

We rented the tent for our reception here and it was great. They were very helpful, they had a big selection of add-ons, many we hadnt even though of. The prices were fair and with the lighting in the tent that our DJ set up, as soon as dusk fell, it was AWESOME. Very cool and I'd recommend going this way for an outdoor wedding. Much more cost effective and if you get good weather, it's really nice.

We used Able Smith to rent multiple items for our outdoor wedding on a private property in September 2018 just outside of Utica, NY. We found out about Able Smith from a recommendation of a family friend who had used their services in Summer 2017. We rented the following from them: 40x80 white pole tent, solid walls for the tent, a restroom trailer, linens for our rectangular dinner tables, linen napkins, burlap table runners for the dining tables, linens to cover hay bales that guests sat on for the ceremony and linens for our tall, round cocktail tables.

They were more than happy to delivery to us (1+ hours away), which we greatly appreciated because they were by far the best price in the central NY area for the things we were looking for.

There wasn’t an event coordinator to work with in the beginning when we first started reaching out for quotes and putting down deposits. So, it was very hard to nail someone down who could help us. We often tried email and phone calls but everything needed to be routed through the owner who wasn’t often in the office.

Fortunately, the event coordinator - Larissa - returned (YAY!) before our wedding and she was WONDERFUL to work with. She was super responsive on phone and email, and helpful with recommendations when we had questions.

We were asking for delivery for items to a location that was 1+ hours from Cicero, NY - so the tent delivery was very late on the day they delivered (dusk). The delivery team set up the tent up in the dark and didn’t leave until well after 9pm. They did a good job - but this is something to keep in mind if you do live farther away. That being said.

All in all, we here very happy with the quality of items that we used for our wedding and the service provided by the business. We would absolutely use them again in the future!

My venue recommended I utilize Able Smith. They did a good job of getting the chairs & tents to the location. I chose to set up chairs instead of paying per chair set up and tear down. My husband and his groomsmen had to assist with the set up of the tent the day of. I did have a difficult time getting anyone to respond to phone messages or emails, and a few times when they told me they would email me back they did not. I had to be VERY persistent with them. I also had one of their "set up" guys call me on the day of - not something I wanted to be dealing with as a bride.

I just used Able Smith for a large party at my house. I did not have any issues at all, but that may be because I had heard a few horror stories about them AFTER I booked and paid my deposit. I did call and stress what I had heard and how important it was that the porto potty, tent, table and chairs be clean and in good condition. The only issue I had was that the black chairs were rusty and dirty. The tent was clean which was another concern of mine, hearing how a few people had dirty stained tents delivered. Not sure if I would use them again or do more research and try another company. If you do decide to use them, you may want to stress any concerns you have at the first meeting or phone call.

All in all, the tent, tables, chairs, dance floor and linens worked. Was it the best looking rental? NO. It got the job done, but for the amount of money you spend you should not have to assist with the set up, be responsible for setting up each table and taking them down. The tent was dirt and they didnt have the correct wall panels. The dance floor was falling apart as well. It worked for what it was, but I would never do business with them again. They also never answered the phone or responded to phone calls in a timely manner.

Will do anything to steal your money. They took more then the told deposit and refunded me nothing in less then 30 days. Also there’s multiple company names very uncertain when I looked at reviews from other company they were terrible of course. I wasn’t told ahead of time they were connected when I purposely tried to avoid that other company. A year out from the wedding and they couldn’t give any money back or even communicate. I emailed I texted I called and got nothing back what a sad company who’s tents are disgusting anyways, read reviews don’t rent from them or Syracuse tent and events same owner. He is awful,
