Even several months after our wedding, my wife and I still struggle to find the exact words to describe how incredible Saige and her team at 'A Touch of Saige Events' truly are.

Our wedding was at The Windsong Lodge in Seward, Alaska. We are not in Seward or even in Alaska. We knew our wedding planner would be coordinating with the venue and all of the vendors on our behalf. We needed someone we could trust to bring everything together, even from a distance. Saige was the that person.

'A Touch of Saige Events' came highly recommended by friends who had worked with Saige and her team in the past. Our venue recommended her. Every vendor we spoke to recommended her. After our initial consultation, we were certain that Saige was the right choice.

When there were problems, Saige seemed to already have the solutions. The baker had a family emergency and was no longer available? She had a backup. Venue had some paperwork issues? We barely knew anything had happened. The bride was concerned that the venue wasn't going to fit our "formal with fantasy flair" theme? Saige's incredible selection of decorations and her connections with other businesses made the whole venue tell the story we wanted to tell.

Here's the kicker: throughout the planning process, Murphy and his Law seemed to be frequent visitors for many of our vendors, including Saige. One night, we received an email from her explaining that a family emergency had come up and that communication might be delayed while she traveled to deal with it. Shortly afterward, severe technical issues complicated the planning process even further.

Despite these challenges, Saige's professionalism, organization, and preparation were so exceptional that the disruptions never seemed to affect the experience we had as clients. We honestly aren't sure whether to call her a prodigy, a wizard, or some other kind of expert, but I suspect all of those descriptions apply.

Saige was an amazing wedding planner. From the beginning, she took the time to listen to everything that I envisioned for our big day and she absolutely made it all happen. Our wedding was truly everything I had envisioned and more, it felt like a dream. I hired Saige just a few months before our wedding and it helped relieve a ton of stress, especially since I was planning our wedding all the way from Ohio. We also ran into some issues with our venue and Saige ended up working everything out for us. She’s very professional, thoughtful, and has amazing attention to detail. We also used several items from her rental inventory which ended up looking so great and the whole rental process was seamless. Saige, Hannah and Caiti did an excellent job as our wedding planning team, both helping us find and book all the vendors we needed for our event, but also bringing all of the logistics together on the day of our wedding.

Our event was interrupted by bad weather (any couple’s worst wedding nightmare), and Saige’s team was able to pivot our entire event indoors flawlessly, while maintaining our vision of the ceremony.
Moreover, Hannah made our day easy by keeping pressure off of us so we could enjoy the event, but also checking in to make sure everything was going the way we wanted.
Saige also has a great inventory of rental items, and went even further to custom make some items to help deliver on our event décor and vision.

Saige made our winter Alaskan dream wedding come true, complete with a full venue transformation from a barn to a black tie ballroom. Her sense of style is unparalleled and she knows vendors both within and outside Alaska to help make any dream a reality. Our night was amazing, and we also had so much fun for 14 months prior while planning. Her work gave us the gift of enjoying our engagement because we could just have fun while she handled all the stress. On the day of the wedding, as far as I knew, absolutely nothing went wrong because Saige handled everything. All we had to do was relax, dance, and get married! I recommend her services for anyone who is planning a wedding or event in Alaska.

Saige made our dreams come true by bringing our grand wedding vision into reality! We are truly so grateful for her expertise and guidance! We had a private ceremony, a large reception, and a farewell brunch in Girdwood, Alaska. Saige provided amazing guidance on preferred vendors, handled all coordination and communication, and essentially became our liaison so that we did not have to manage all the back and forth for each detail. This was very valuable and allowed us to focus on each other on our big day. The timeline that was created for all events was absolutely immaculate and kept everyone on track and in the right place at the right time. On top of everything else, there were so many beautiful aspects that Saige designed and incorporated, I could have never done this without her! The venue design, beautiful candy bar, and throne chair were some of our favorites. The layout and design allowed for us to be transported into our winter wonderland wedding with every sense. Saige was there for every step of the planning process and the day of, she was all in on managing the events, family dynamics, and she even bustled my dress before our grand entrance. We truly had the most amazing wedding dream team! We really enjoyed Saige and each of the hand picked vendors she recommended. Everyone was so sweet, professional, and fantastic! You can not put a price on perfection, hiring Saige is the best investment you will make for your big day!
