Chad from A Taste of Music DJ'd our wedding and he was totally amazing!!! From Day 1, he was responsive, professional, talented, and guided us through the whole process. He was so easy, fun, and pleasant to work with. After the initial calls/emails, he took the time to meet with us in person a few weeks before the wedding and went through the entire day in great detail. Not only did he help us with music, but he also helped us coordinate the timing and flow of the entire day, which was so incredibly helpful, as well as lighting and a photobooth. The day of, he totally nailed it! He showed up on time and with excellent equipment, including speakers, microphones, lighting, and a photobooth with props. He had perfect timing for the ceremony, and played great music for the cocktail hour and reception. Everything sounded great. He read the crowd perfectly, and made our wedding a day we will remember forever. Our friends are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding and how they LOVED the music, and it was so much fun to look at all the photo booth pictures. Chad took care of everything the day of and made everything go so smoothly, which was such a blessing with so much going on. I absolutely recommend Chad and A Taste of Music!!!!

Chad was professional, organized, and fun! Our wedding was indoors at the Lyman Estate and he was very familiar with the space and the staff. He set up speakers and mics for ceremony music, cocktail hour music, toasts, dinner music and dancing. He also made everything work for the many different rooms we were using at the Lyman Estate. He also was excellent at making announcements and transitioning guests from one thing to another. We requested many songs ahead of time and he did a great job supplementing songs that went with what we liked. He kept people dancing and everyone had a great time. I would definitely recommend Chad for any event.

I had no idea how to choose a DJ when I started planning, but luckily my caterer recommended Chad because they worked together a lot. Once we met him it was a no-brainer, and we were so glad we followed the recommendation. Chad is the best! We met with him a few times before the big day to discuss ideas and logistics, and he was very down-to-earth, friendly, and professional.

Our venue had multiple rooms, and we even ended up moving a lot of our reception outdoors because of the great weather, and none of that phased Chad. He was on top of everything. Before our toasts and first dance he asked my preference about whether to have them inside or outside, and since I wasn’t sure, I felt perfectly comfortable leaving it up to his best recommendation. We couldn’t have picked a better DJ for our wedding!

Chad was a delight to work with leading up to the wedding, and absolutely fantastic on the day! He was personable, reassuring, and funny at our introductory meeting, thorough in follow-up communications, and brought all that charm to the reception as well. The music was fantastic, he was fun without being intrusive on the flow of the evening, and the dance floor was busy all night! One of my guests even 'complained' that there were so many good songs, she didn't have time to take a break from dancing, because there were none she felt like sitting out! I only wish there were more events for which we might need a DJ, because Chad was stellar start to finish.

Chad was great. He DJed our wedding at the Lyman Estate and did an amazing job. He has worked there many times and knows the staff, other vendors, and estate layout well. Everything went smoothly on the day of--he checked in just the right amount and was kind and funny. The transitions from outdoor ceremony, to porch speeches, to music flowing through the estate all went beautifully. From the beginning, he put us at ease, championed our choices, and was easy to work with.

From our first meeting with Chad, I knew that he was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He provided planning tools for us to use, song suggestions and asked questions that I hadn't even thought of! He was so responsive to everything, so organized and just a really great person! He totally catered to our crowd, and I don't think anyone left the dance floor. It was perfect from start to finish! He even helped us at the end of the night in a bit of a bind, which was so over and above any expectations but so genuinely appreciated, it truly felt like I had known him for years. Thank you SO much Chad for making our day so perfect!!

We absolutely loved working with Chad! He was super responsive, very helpful, and extremely professional throughout the whole wedding planning process. The music he played during the wedding was a wonderful mix of everything, and everyone was out on the dance floor all night. We absolutely loved working with Chad from A Taste of Music for our wedding at the Lyman Estate in September 2015. He went out of his way to get a sense of our style and understand what kind of music, and event overall, that we wanted. His playlist was fantastic, keeping our guests on the dance floor all night with a great mix. He also handled logistics flawlessly, including handling microphones for our toasts on the porch and setting up a speaker with its own more mellow playlist for guests to relax in the library. His equipment was top-notch. He made us, and all our guests, feel completely at ease and made sure everyone had a fantastic time. We had guests coming up to us during the event to rave about how great he was. We can't recommend him enough.
