Hired them once. Then hired them 4 more times & forever.
Working with Blake and Morgan is nothing less than excellent. If you've ever wished someone could plug into your brain and execute that idea, but better. They're your people.
TLDR; If you want quality work and don't want boring, run of the mill, every pose is the same, pictures - hire them. They're great at responding, checking in, and giving inspiration/direction.
How do I know? My family and I have hired them 5 times already over 3 years - for my extended family (10 people), my nuclear family (5 people), my grandmother's 85th birthday (11 people + 1 dog), my cousin's maternity pictures (2 people), & her twin's family session (2 adults + 1 very sleepy toddler). We've really put them through the wringer with all of us and the results were just brilliant. My only issue is I love every photo they've given us to choose from and it's so hard to pick.
I found them after seeing Koneko Studio's Branding Session. I loved how they were able to work with a large group of people and everyone looked great and important. I told them "whatever y'all did for Koneko, that's what I want for my family." My expectations were "if it comes out exactly the same, I'm great with that" because I loved what they had done. The session was completely custom to my extended family but with the same vibe.
I continuously stalk their Pic-Time gallery to see what they've worked on and they truly are my family's go-to photographer. I truly love all of the weddings and family sessions they've done. If you want to see an amazing progression, check out the Limongelli's photo sessions (pre-wedding, civil union, wedding, maternity. alesialoves (on instagram). A great modern, artistic engagement shoot - marseabeejewelry (on instagram). An accessible wedding (wheelchair) - briibrouck (on instagram).
I feel like their editing is true to the real colors, it's not overly white, warm, or overly blue toned. Their poses look natural and intentional. They're great at communicating their directions.
