All you need is a wedding gown, rings and wedding license to marry at Blue Skies Inn. Our wedding venue is called A Pikes Peak Wedding, named for our nearby mountain. First you book a two night stay at our inn, then choose one of our all-inclusive wedding packages. Features include a ceremony officiant, pretty bridal bouquet, wedding cake and extensive photo package.
Favorite suites for romantic wedding stays are Blue Skies, Morning Glory and Sunset, all with whirlpool tubs and fireplaces. A full hot breakfast, delivered as room service, may be enjoyed in your own private sitting room.
Your summer ceremony will be held in our Waterfall or Woodland Garden which are full of flowers and surrounded by stately oaks. Sometimes a deer may wander by or a hummingbird may visit nearby flowers. Winter weddings may be held indoors by a cozy fireplace while some brides choose to wed in the snow. Our historic 1873 carriage house has just been restored and is now a wedding chapel that will seat 60 guests.
The bride may choose flowers and colors for her bouquet and a matching boutonniere for the groom.
A scrumptious wedding cake will be decorated with fresh flowers to match the bride's bouquet. You may choose flavors and fillings, too!
Wedding photos are taken during the ceremony and afterwards at streamside with a bed of rose petals underfoot. Your photos of Pikes Peak in the background will remind you forever of your wedding in Colorado mountains. At the end of the day, you will be given your negatives and a CD so that you may make as many enlargements as you wish. We shoot about 200 photos and the quantity increases with the number of your guests.
Within several days of your ceremony, we will post photos of you on the Pikes Peak Wedding website. It's fun to send an email to friends inviting them to pull up the website to see what you've done over the weekend. Friends and relatives from far and near who weren't able to attend will delight in seeing your wedding online.
At additional cost to the wedding package price, you may invite friends and family who will make your day special and memorable. We also welcome flower girls, ringbearers and wedding parties.

This is the most beautiful wedding venue in Colorado. My wife and I looked at different venues for seven months, and finally came across this beautifully crafted bed and breakfast in the heart of Manitou Springs. With all inclusive photography, beautifully tiled bedrooms with designs that are unheard of, and a Jacuzzi in your personal wedding suite what more is there to ask for. The breakfast is served with a touch of care knowing how wonderfully it was cooked. Also the hors d'oeuvres reception was some of the most amazing food we have ever eaten, and it just kept coming! The gardens are a spectacle that is worth taking a tour of just for the romance. There is a hot tub and deer that come to graze on the property early in the morning. Sally and Mike were so accommodating with everything we desired, our fall wedding was the most beautiful our guests have ever seen as they directly stated. We had so many professional photos taken by Sally that our day will be remembered for the rest of our lives. With Sally providing a free balloon animal specialist as a gift as well as the gift of extra flowers was simply the most gracious gift one could humbly give! Her staff was very sweet and accommodating, bubbles were distributed in a kind fashion by them as well. Apple cider was delivered to our room after the wedding and kept cool in a personal fridge! With on switch fireplaces in the bedroom and a listing of free movies this bed and breakfast really topped the charts. This all inclusive wedding package is also affordable on all budgets, as we did enough research to find this B & B offered so much more than the competitor’s. The most spectacular part was the hummingbird moth that landed on my brides flowers during photography, this picture was one of a kind and sally was able to capture three angles! Thanks again Sally and Mike, Sincerely, Cynthia & Michael!Sent on 03/04/2015

We were married in October 2015 at Blue Skies Inn and through Sally's experience, generosity, good humor, and eye for detail, everything came together perfectly. Sally is a great communicator and checked in throughout the whole planning process. We trusted her decisions as we were planning from afar and weren't able to be in person to check on everything! If you want to be in charge of every detail and have a certain *exact* flowers or other details, this may not be for you. Read the contracts and instructions carefully-- they are meant to take the burden off the couple! Everything that was really important to us, Sally was creative in finding solutions and suggesting alternatives.Sent on 08/12/2016
The garden and set up was beautiful, and it was so helpful to have Sally and her staff keep us on schedule. We love the photos, the food was tasty, and rooms luxurious! A few of our friend stayed onsite and still rave to us about the breakfasts and their whole experience in Colorado. We will always remember our wedding day and the beginning of our honeymoon fondly, thanks in no small part to Sally, Mike, and their staff!

While the venue was absolutely beautiful, the owner was a nightmare to work with. She was very inflexible about so many strange things. As part of the wedding package we had to book a suite for the night before and the night of the wedding. I stayed the night before and got ready in my suite. She would only allow 2 people in my suite besides me on the day of the wedding claiming she didn't want bridesmaids taking over the bathroom and keeping me from getting ready. She also wouldn't allow any photography on the grounds before the wedding unless I paid $250 per half hour claiming that her staff would have to supervise us. As a guest of the Inn I should have been able to have access to the gardens beforehand. Every extra thing I wanted that is part of a typical wedding (cake topper, guest book, favors, centerpieces, etc) were an additional charge because her staff would have to place then. And she kept going back on things that we had agreed on, such as cake delivery. 2 weeks before the wedding she decided I would have to pay an additional $40 for cake delivery. I had a dream bouquet and had provided pictures for her and agreed on the budget. On the wedding day she brought me my bouquet and it was NOTHING like what I had asked for. She incorporated other flowers that I had not asked for and the shape was totally different. And the hors d'oeuvres we chose were not the ones she served on the day of the wedding.Sent on 08/21/2014
I loved the venue itself and honestly could not have asked for a more beautiful setting for my wedding but I want others to know how difficult and stressful it was dealing with Sally at A Pikes Peak Wedding.
A Pikes Peak Wedding's reply:Our 3 all-inclusive packages are carefully described on the web, in print and in person when the couple tours. Packages include officiant, flowers, cake, photography and use of the garden and chapel venue. This bride had a time limit, but made many attempts to add extra time. A couple, as registered guests, is welcome to use the grounds beforehand, but we can’t accommodate a photographer and bridal party as we set up. We book suites for double occupancy and allow 2 others to help a bride dress. If a bride wishes others to dress here, they may book rooms. This bride was not charged for additional services. She went outside our usual cake choices, ordering a fresh strawberry cake which required last minute delivery, an extra charge. We special-ordered callas for her bouquet, counting blooms in a photo which she provided. When they arrived and seemed small, we added white orchids, explaining we could take them out. The bouquet was accepted with only a request for shorter ribbon. The hors d’oeuvres ordered were the exact ones that we served. We had early rehearsal on July 4th to fit in the bride’s holiday. She demanded 16 ft. of head tables which we purchased later that day, and we set tables far apart so her estranged family “would not argue.” The bride said she wouldn’t be following the schedule, and 1 hr. before the wedding, emailed us with her directions. We consented to let the bride bring a band with a written agreement for 2 acoustic guitars but many amplified instruments came, and the bride used a microphone to sing along. In 15 years, our neighbors never complained until this wedding. However, rather than ask the bride to lower volume, we said, “let her have her day.” We are sad that she chose our carefully described, all-inclusive package and then complained. She needed a 5-star hotel but chose us for an affordable price. Other happy weddings came after this event, and we look forward to the next 500 couples who will wed here.
