Situated in Moab, Utah, in the heart of canyon country, The Red Earth Venue is a unique and intimate destination for wedding celebrations. The 17-acre estate is set amidst red-rock cliffs and a breathtaking desert landscape. The founders are former photographers and park rangers who established this alternative venue to promote sustainability and minimize disruption to the natural environment. They wish to provide couples with an off-the-beaten-track wedding destination. Nature-loving couples and adventurous, outdoorsy types will delight in this intimate ceremony and reception site.
Facilities and Capacity
The Red Earth Venue is surrounded by spectacular views in every direction, including the Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park. This remote location offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for your entire wedding journey, from engagements and rehearsal dinners to the main event. Outdoor ceremonies take place under a romantic boho-chic arch against a backdrop of earthy cliffs and rugged terrain that is perfect for post-nuptial photoshoots. Afterward, guests can mingle and celebrate under the sun and enjoy a relaxed meal at rustic wooden tables. Ambient string lights hang over the elevated wooden dance floor, where newlyweds and their loved ones can dance under the stars. From 2022, the purpose-built pavilion is also available so that couples can enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. This 1,800-square-foot banquet hall boasts a modern and minimal aesthetic, with full-length windows that overlook the exquisite landscape and maximize natural light.

You can work with outside vendors of your choice for all of your catering, entertainment, and decor needs. The dedicated team provides chairs and tables for all events. Exclusive rentals of this venue conclude at midnight, and members of the in-house team take care of breakdown and cleanup.

It was a dream!
Beyond how beautiful it was, the team at Red Earth was amazing. From the very beginning, they were so kind, responsive, and helpful. They not only made the process easy — they helped us find our dream team of vendors, from our wedding planner to our caterer and photographer. We felt supported every step of the way, and looking back, we wouldn’t change a thing. We’re so grateful we found this place and would absolutely recommend it to anyone getting married in Moab!

We booked the venue without having seen it in person since we live in Florida and chose this venue for our intimate (roughly 45 guests) Moab destination wedding. We were blown away when we saw it in person!!! Our friends and family couldn't stop raving about the beautiful scenery and the uniqueness of the venue! We have zero complaints from our wedding day.
We decided to hire Hannah as our Day of Wedding Coordinator and truly we have no idea what we would've done without her! She was so kind and professional - and she knows her stuff! She was so helpful throughout the planning process and every vendor she recommended to us was amazing. Her and her team executed everything on the day of so smoothly. There was no point throughout the day of that we were stressed at all. We were able to be present and enjoy everything on our wedding day because we had such confidence in Hannah.

Best Venue Ever!
A huge part of how smoothly everything went was working with vendors familiar with the venue. After selecting the Red Earth Venue, we partnered with our wedding planner (from Kosi Rentals) to choose vendors listed on their website. Every vendor we worked with was fantastic and professional. The venue clearly puts a lot of thought into curating vendors who not only provide exceptional services but also align perfectly with the space.
We also appreciated the multimedia resources on the venue's website, which provided excellent layouts to help us visualize the space. Additionally, we had the opportunity to visit for a brief tour before the wedding, and everyone we met at the venue was so warm and inviting.
The venue’s design is ideal not only for hosting a beautiful wedding but also for capturing breathtaking photos that showcase the stunning landscape. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—Red Earth Venue was everything we dreamed of and more!

The Red Earth Venue provided us with a comprehensive list of trusted vendors, making it easy to choose the perfect ones for our day. We worked with Matt Davidson Photography, who was fantastic—he held several detailed calls with us, addressing all our questions about the photography and the venue itself.
For catering, we chose Moab Canyon Pizza Co., and thanks to a discount code from the venue, we were able to provide a delicious meal for our guests without breaking the bank. The Tipsy Trailer handled all our drink needs flawlessly, having worked at the venue multiple times before.
Our cake, created by Sweet Serendipity, was not only beautiful but absolutely delicious! The venue offers a variety of add-on services that helped make our wedding uniquely ours. Once we selected our add-ons, the team at Red Earth Venue took care of all the setup, ensuring everything was perfect for our big day.
In the end, everything went off without a hitch! Since returning home, our guests have been raving about the experience and wanting to relive it all over again. The only minor wish we had was for dedicated Groom and Bridal spaces to get ready, but it wasn't a deal breaker; we managed to prepare at our resort before heading to the venue.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding experience at Red Earth Venue. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a stunning and seamless wedding!
