Snowbasin Resort

Snowbasin hosts the very best weddings. The team there is amazing (our venue coordinator was Harley) and takes care of the tables, seating, table linens, catering, bar service, dishes which is so nice. It's expensive but really good value for the pricing it is and better than many other similar venues in SLC. The venue is naturally stunning and requires very little additional decor in order to look stunning. Overall, we couldn't have been happier to get married there and I would highly suggest any pair looking at wedding venues to take a tour of Snowbasin.

Snowbasin is the perfect option for couples who are looking for an "all-inclusive" wedding venue set in the mountains with elegant indoor reception spaces. Their staff handled almost all of the set up and break down so my family could enjoy the day without having to run around and set up too much stuff. Our phenomenal venue coordinator was Harley Skeen. She made vendor recommendations, answered all of our emails within 48-hours, and even provided us with free day passes so we could go skiing before our wedding. We got married on the Needles Patio and had the reception at the Earl Lodge. Our guests really enjoyed taking the gondola and we thought this added a special ski-resort/mountain touch. Once we arrived at the venue, our bridal party was introduced to a snowbasin staff member who was tasked with making us comfortable and ensuring we had everything we needed to relax before the wedding. The get-ready rooms were stunning with green marble sinks and a lot of mirrors that made for really elegant get-ready pictures and were great for doing makeup and hair touch-ups before the ceremony. We chose to do bridal photos and the first look outside on an easy-to-access trail directly to the left of the Middle Bowl chairlift (about a 5 minute walk from the Needles Lodge), the wildflowers were blooming in early July and it made for absolutely gorgeous photos. We did have some unexpected rain which the snowbasin staff handled very well, they provided me the option of moving the band and bar inside the Earl Lodge instead of on the patio which I agreed to and they made the transition effortlessly and very quickly during our reception. Snowbasin staff brought my husband and I drinks and extra food at dinner and throughout the night checked in with us to see if we needed anything. I can't imagine there's a better wedding venue in all of Utah.

A Dream Wedding Come True at Snowbasin Resort!

Snowbasin Resort was everything I could’ve hoped for in a wedding venue—absolutely stunning, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful. The scenery alone was magical, but what truly made it unforgettable was how smooth and stress-free everything felt thanks to the incredible staff.

From the very beginning, the team at Snowbasin was kind, responsive, and genuinely excited to help bring my vision to life. They were so accommodating, patient, and thoughtful with every detail. I always felt supported and understood, which made planning so much easier and more enjoyable.

The day itself went flawlessly. The space was perfectly set up, the atmosphere was serene and romantic, and every corner felt like a photo-worthy moment. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate one of the most special days of my life.

If you're looking for a venue that’s not only gorgeous but also filled with people who truly care about your experience, Snowbasin Resort is the one. I’ll treasure the memories we made there forever. Highly, highly recommend!

We were married up at Needles Lodge in January 2022, and having skiied at Snowbasin for years, I was still blown away with the location as a wedding venue. Snowbasin was incredibly flexible with our reschedules due to COVID and the event coordinator Emma made sure the day was going to executed the way we expected it. The lodge is gorgeous and hardly needs decoration, which helps when Snowbasin is a destination wedding. Emma knew all the little details that helped make our day great that we never would have thought of, from having hot-chocolate waiting for people as the arrive, before the gondola, to letting us know when to open hand warmers so they would be ready for the ceremony. The pictures that we have from the day are simply stunning, there is no better backdrop that out the back of Needle Lodge. The food was amazing, all the guests wanted more! The Snowbasin staff took care of a huge amount of little things day of, so that we could truly enjoy our wedding.

I had my wedding ceremony & reception at Needles Lodge, and it was so wonderful. I've been asking guests what they enjoyed the most and everyone has raved about the amazing experience of going up the gondola (highly recommend choosing a date at the end of September for the most jaw-dropping fall colors!!) and the views at Needles & the food. So pretty much, everything Snowbasin-related haha. My husband also agreed that the dinner they provided was the best part of the wedding haha.

Planning a wedding can be pretty stressful, but it was wonderful to work with Emma for the months leading up to the event. She is not only great at her job but also a lovely human! She answered all the questions of a high-maintenance bride and kept me in the loop about everything I needed to know :) And, the week of the wedding, Emma was incredibly responsive when I needed to go back-and-forth with her roughly 3 times a day because of last-minute guest additions/cancellations haha.

On the day of, Snowbasin did a wonderful job setting up everything exactly the way I wanted. They were organized and kind and kept the day running smoothly. This was a great service to me - I could really just enjoy being a bride because they took care of everything before I needed to get involved.

We had our wedding at Needles Lodge and it was truly magical. The staff was super helpful our wedding coordinator was amazing and it made planning our event so seamless. We had the most perfect day - highly recommend!

I am so so so glad that we decided to have our wedding at Snowbasin! Our wedding on 5/29/21 was an absolute dream come true. The location is absolutely gorgeous with the mountains in the background, everything was so green and pretty and they have amazing indoor and outdoor spaces! I had a great experience with everyone that I communicated with and overall the day went smooth and was better than I ever imagined! All of my guests were absolutely blown away by this venue and I would not change a thing from my wedding day! We were able to have the ceremony outdoors, dining inside and then reception and dancing outside! They have fire pits and lights outside that make everything feel just to warm and inviting! I'm obsessed with this venue!

Got married 2/2019 on a beautifully snowy day! Carly was my wedding coordinator she made all my dreams come true! They made a stressful day into a easy just show up event!The food was sensational & everyone took great care of our guests. It was truly a fairy tale like beauty & the beast. Our cake was delicious & decorated so beautifully. I cant thank Carly & snowbasin enough for a beautiful wedding day!

Our Daughter's wedding at Snowbasin August 17, 2019 exceeded our expectations. I knew when I met with Kristine Cline in August of 2018 that Snowbasin would be a perfect venue since we were planning a wedding long distance and our daughter's time was limited because of being a 3rd year resident. Kristine was wonderful to work with. I have experience putting on big events and I knew Kristine and the staff at Snowbasin knew how to do a first rate event. The service the day of the Wedding was above and beyond. While family was taking photos in the wildflowers which was quite a hike in heels and long dresses, the staff was bringing appetizers and drinks out to us on trays so that we would not miss out on the cocktail hour. We never asked for this service, they just did it and it was phenomonel! Putting everything together with Kristine was an easy process. There are so many choices with no upcharge. Needles Lodge was beautiful and the wildflowers that Lund Floral provided were a perfect addition. Richie the DJ was also a wonderful MC for the evening and really had the party going. I would recommend looking at these Snowbasin recommended vendors. The Gondola ride to Needles was a special treat for our guests. Once up at Needles, the venue is private and very intimate. We had a Buffet dinner which was Wonderful. We were prepared to have a plated service if needed (depending on our final guest list number) and felt comfortable that either would be equally as good. Again, I cannot say enough about the service from Day 1 of planning. Kristine was the best and the Catering Manager Ashley was equally as wonderful that day! We are looking forward to going back to Snowbasin to enjoy a Sunday Brunch at Needles or a Sunday afternoon Brews and Blues festival. It truly is a special place. I would also recommend Lakeside and Edgewater Condos for your guest. They are about 10 minutes down the Mountain and were a perfect place to spend the Wedding Weekend.
