I don't know where some of the bad reviews come from on this site, but they are from quite a few years ago, so maybe those issues have been fixed. All three employees we dealt with here were extremely professional, invested in helping my daughter find the right dress, not pushy at all to sell something, gave her all the time she needed and knew what they were doing. Yes, sales are final, but that is the case at every wedding shop that we went to. If you go to a local small vendor, these are large purchases and constant returns would cause them to go out of business. We could not be happier with the service we received and the dress (which was found by the employee, not my daughter) turned out to be something she never would have thought of on her own and she loves it. We cannot say enough good about this shop. Yes, you have to make it appointment to try on dresses. That is also the case at every shop we went to.

Great wedding dress shopping experience. The girls were extremely helpful and very patient with me considering how many dresses it felt like I tried on. I believe their names were Kaysie and Carly that helped me out that day and both were so nice. I believe it was Kaysie who wasn’t even working that day but had happened to be stopping by for her own dresses. She stayed and helped measure me to make sure the dress I loved was the right size. Tricia, their seamstress, was so accommodating and met me the next day to address my concerns before I purchased. I ended up buying my dream dress there and can’t wait to try it on after alterations and especially to wear it for my wedding! Such a great collection of beautiful and modest dresses! Their casual dresses are cute as well and great for church or everyday wear. In terms of wedding dresses, their prices are reasonable and the material is such high quality!

I bought the first dress I tried on here. The shop is perfectly quaint but with enough room to have 2 brides trying on dresses at the same time. The girls that work at the shop are so fun and they are so helpful. They are very organized and have great recommendations for tailors. I LOVED getting my dress here!

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience selecting a wedding dress at A Dressy Occasion for her December wedding. The staff were so helpful and friendly and engaging. This positive experience was unfortunately marred by a problem with a slip that was ordered. The staff suggested that my daughter try on a slip under the wedding dress that she selected. We bought the slip that they suggested. It wasn’t until during alterations that we discovered that the slip that was sold to us was the absolute wrong shape for the dress. My daughter’s dress has an A line shape and the slip was made for a ball gown. Her dress measures 50- inch wide and the slip measures 80 inches wide. The dress and the slip were an obvious mismatch as soon as my daughter tried them on together. Her bottom was covered with big lumps of the slip that were bunched underneath the dress fabric. In addition, the manager ordered a slip that was too small and was very tight on my daughter’s waist. When we tried to exchange the slip we were told that a slip is considered to be a personal item and therefore cannot be exchanged or returned. This policy is unacceptable for our situation where the clerks sold the wrong type of slip to us and the manager ordered the wrong size. These were not customer errors. In addition, my daughter only tried on the slip at the fitting and was wearing a bodysuit when she tried it on so no part of her skin even touched the slip. We are now out $75 for the cost of the slip which cannot be worn. We decided that wearing the dress without a slip was preferable to trying to reorder and having a similar experience. I am sorry that we have to write a bad review as the women that work at this store are so sweet, but unfortunately, we do not trust this store anymore. Tip- make sure you know what you are buying and before you purchase it at this shop or you may be out $$.

Out of all the wedding planning for my wedding (pandemic and all), THESE PEOPLE were my BIGGEST PROBLEM. This should speak volumes! Attention needs to be called to them!

Heaven FORBID anything goes wrong...(a defective or damaged dress, dress doesn’t fit, maybe you just don’t like the dress), THEY WILL NOT ACCOMMODATE. THEY WILL NOT SERVE YOU NOR WILL THE HELP YOU IN ANYWAY.

Worst service ever. Donna, the owner of this terrible business (a reincarnated Hitler...seriously), along with all of her employees and customer service support team are TRASH. Used this place to order bridesmaids’ dresses (8 of them, mind you), and ran into SO MANY PROBLEMS with their service. My mother in law also ordered her dress from here and they sent her the wrong size TWICE. Then explained to her that this “simply could not have happened,” argued about sending the right size and caused so much stress!!!! They were utterly terrible with communication. Upon FINALLY getting into contact with the actual owner to get to the bottom of all the issues we ran into, she was anything but helpful. Donna actually YELLED at me over the phone, talked over me while I was trying to explain our crisis (you know...since she had NO IDEA what was going on), was trying to put words in my mouth and STILL could not offer me any solution. Not even in store credit... yikes. 😬 I have honestly been scarred by these events and this business should not be up and running. They ruined what could of been such a great experience for me, as I know they have also ruined others’ experiences as well. Wish I could give them 0 stars... or like negative 5 stars.

The owner is the reincarnation of Hitler. Never before have I heard a more evil and vile person. Received the wrong color and terrible stitching on the dress and the owner refused to refund. She said that returns and exchanges are the exact same thing. When talking to the owner, the owner called my future sister in law an idiot because my sister in law called her out on the refund and exchange thing. She then called my fiancee anal because the color was wrong and clashed with our wedding colors and that customer is always wrong. Do not do business with this disgusting excuse for a business.
