From the start, he was well-priced, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with. I gave a lot of input on music (because I’m particular 😬), including a fairly extensive “Do Not Play” list, and he respected it completely. Not a single cringe song made it onto the dance floor. That alone deserves a gold star. The logistics of his set up for our outdoor ceremony and very old barn reception? I couldn't tell you a thing about it; he handled it with the venue without me needing to worry at all.

When I was interviewing DJs, my most important question was: "How do you feel about Do Not Play lists and curated playlists?" I wanted someone who respected that this was our wedding and our taste. Some DJs gave off a strong “don’t worry, I know what makes a good party” or “I’ll be the cruise director of your wedding” vibe, which was absolutely not what I wanted.

Brandon was the opposite of that. He was open to input, collaborative, and genuinely cared about creating the atmosphere we envisioned. No flashy personality, no forced hype-man energy.

What impressed me most is that I barely “noticed” him all night, except in the best possible way. The only times I was aware of his work were when a song came on that made me extra excited or when a transition felt perfect. Everything just flowed.

We didn’t do grand entrances or big, showy announcements. That wasn’t the vibe we wanted. Brandon picked up on that immediately. He made the important announcements clearly and professionally when needed, but otherwise let the music carry the night.

The dance floor was absolutely bumping, and the energy built naturally without ever feeling chaotic or cheesy. And plenty of our guests and vendors commented on this too.

And the true MVP moment: our groomsmen surprised my husband with a Golden Girls singalong situation, and Brandon made it happen. And I'm sure they didn't really plan it with him so much as walk up to him the day of. It was an unforgettable part of our day.

Choosing A Dance Floor Production as the DJ service for our wedding was the best choice we made for our big day. Brandon was super easy to work with in planning the event and pulled through with great entertainment at the reception. He also did a great job with the music for the ceremony. The power went out at our venue ( which could have been terrible) but the DJs got everyone back up and dancing, and we are still hearing how great our wedding was. We were very pleased with A Dance Floor Production! They were easy to plan with and kept our guests moving. The photos of our dance floor came out amazing. The optional up lighting was worth it too- it added pop to all the photos.

A Dance Floor Productions was the DJ at my August 2016 wedding. Brandon was extremely accomodating and very flexible when it came to my music requests and general 'feel' that we were looking for in music. I knew he had a hard job ahead of him knowing that 90% of our guests were more 'chat and listen to music' rather then 'dancing the night away', however he was able to get a good deal of people on the dance floor and we had a wonderful time. My favorite part was his ability to sneak unobtrusive music into my wedding ceremony where it accented the ceremony and didn't take it over, made for the BEST compliment to our day. He also managed to find the acoustic version of our first dance song which was apparently hard to find and he came through. Highly recommend his services, he's more then competively priced and utterly professional, he was on time and set up and break down was extremely efficient.
