I didn't have a very good experience with Rev. Jerry Braam from A Beautiful Affair of the Heart.
He seemed nice enough, and showed up on time looking cleaned up, but he went pretty off-script during the ceremony which was unexpected since he said he read the entire thing and we gave him a clear script.
The worst was that he decided to apologize to our parents for us "coming home at 3am" or some nonsense, which of course we never did (he didn't know us) and made my mom super angry since all her friends and family were there to hear him say those things.
Then, once the ceremony was done, he couldn't even let us walk down the aisle without telling us he needed us to sign some stuff etc etc. He left the whole thing as quickly as he could.
Oh, and then I got some sort of spam/virus from his email address after the event. That was great too.
Maybe the service in general is good, but this officiant was the worst part of my wedding.
