Mike is not your average Dj he actually plays the keyboard. He is not your tacky over the top Dj with the club lighting. He is more laid back. He got my family on the dance floor. My mother got my compliments throughout the night on just how wonderful he is.

We had booked Mike a few months out at least, but hadn't filled out all the information or talked to him until a week away from the wedding. I was so nervous about everything going well, and he showed up and put my mind at ease, executing every detail flawlessly. Since it was a Lord of the Rings themed wedding with geeky accents from Skyrim, World of Warcraft, and Game of Thrones, we thought a drinking contest would be a fun ice breaker for everyone-but we hadn't done the proper research to pull it together. Instead, Mike suggested trivia and pulled something together at the last minute. Everyone had fun-there was not a dull moment. Not only that, but he humored us by wearing the Gandalf hat we had for him. Throughout the night our friend's continued to say, "that guy is the BEST" and told us we had an awesome DJ, which was true. He was a pleasure to work with and the photobooth he setup was a total hit. I would book him in a heartbeat for any event that needs a great DJ!

Mike Purcell is a genuine person who really cares about his business, and it shows! He inspired people to get up on the dance floor and be more interactive, which gave us some good laughs at our wedding! We rented the photo booth, which everyone loved!! My husband and I are so happy we hired Mike Purcell of A-1 Entertainment to play the piano for our wedding ceremony. The timing of the songs and the music was perfect! We also rented a photo booth which our guests, including ourselves, loved having. Taking the photos was fun and letting the guests take home prints was an added bonus to the night. Pictures came out great!

Mike is outstanding!! His ability as a musician and DJ is top notch. He has such passion for what he does and goes above and beyond. Our wedding party was so impressed by him, he truly made our wedding memorable and wonderful for all ages. Mike Purcell is the best DJ around. He made my vision of walking down the isle to a live music a reality. He is very reasonable and is just plain fun. Totally worth it, made my day memorable, AND got everyone dancing!!!!!

Mike made our Wedding an uforgetable event. The fact that he was willing to travel all the way to Florida was amazing. He was really good at keeping the party going on his own, but also took basically any request that anyone had. I would highly recomend A-1 entertainment for anyones wedding.

Overall this DJ provided the full package. Mike was the best of it all. After attending many weddings this season, I can say that Mike was excellent. We could not have asked for anything to be better. The music never stopped, transitions were excellent and everyone was happy! He had high quality speakers and even brought lights.

We did not have a wedding, we had our annual Company Anniversary party at Saratoga National Golf Club. However, no matter what the occasion, Mike should be your guy!

We were stuck in a predicament and only needed karaoke services for a short period of time during our party. It was our grand finale, if you will. While others said no, Mike said yes and provided us with fantastic customer service across the board! With A-1 Entertainment included, our company soiree was the best one so far (and there have been 16 prior)!

our DJ was great, very easy going, easy to work with, and lots of fun! only mishap was that he accidentally started to play the wrong song for our recessional, but he quickly fixed it, and everyone laughed it off!
