Katie and her team were an absolute dream to work with for our wedding in October 2024. From the start, we felt so comfortable around her, and she brought such a fun, positive energy. The videos turned out beautifully and were delivered right on time. We’ve already watched them several times and love sharing them with our family and friends. We had an amazing experience working with Katie as our wedding videographer (for an Indian Hindu wedding). From the very first planning call, she was professional, organized, and really listened to our vision for the day. On the event days, she arrived on time, fully prepared, and managed everything smoothly. Katie was attentive to our needs, knowing exactly when we needed a break, which made the whole experience so much more comfortable. She and her team were incredibly friendly and worked seamlessly with both our planner and photographer. Although we’ve only seen the trailer so far, it perfectly captured the energy and emotion of the week. We can't wait to see the rest! Highly recommend Katie and her team for any event!

When I was planning my wedding, I got a lot of opinions on how to cut costs and I heard often “skip a videographer”. I heard everything from “we never watched ours” to “I paid and big moments were missing” to “the selection of music is awkward and it ruins it”. I of course was slightly nervous when I decided to do a videographer, and reflecting on my experience, I have to conclude that all of those opinions were from couples who didn’t hire the right videographer. Along with my wedding planner, Katie from 97 films was actually my vendor who knew me the best. Having her and the team at my wedding actually relaxed me because it felt like my friend was just there to celebrate me and my now husband.

I originally hired Katie and 97 Films because she offered something I have never heard of or seen before. A DAY OF video. So she literally shoots your wedding prep/ceremony and produces a film THAT SAME DAY. My husband and I had some older family members in attendance that we wanted to share our day with and wow did Katie deliver. I still do not understand how this came together so quickly. I had a lot of beautiful things at my wedding but our day of video was the surprise that kept coming up as a crowd favorite. Everyone was floored, I was floored, my husband was floored. My reaction was caught by my photographer (see attached) and it sums up exactly how I felt. We then got ANOTHER video of our wedding very quickly and it also made me cry ugly tears. The music, the shots, the moments that were included - everything is so perfect. The day flew by but I am able to relive the most important moments over and over again. But don’t take my word for it, watch them here and see what it’s like when you hire the right videographer.

Talent wise, Katie is in another league, all shots are flattering, perfectly framed with a clear eye for beauty. There’s no “fluff” added to make a certain length video, both my videos are cohesive, romantic and custom. She really is a storyteller who just happens to also be skilled with a camera. Somehow even better than the actual talent was the experience and prep for the videos. Katie, my husband and I met to get some behind the scene footage and for her to learn more about us. Every meeting and interaction with her was so relaxed and we all ended up having lunch together because it felt so natural. Basically working with Katie is like lucking into having a best friend who also happens to be the best cinematographer. Coming into my wedding day I had no nerves, and didn’t feel the need to micromanage because I knew I’d be happy. My advice-don’t skip the videographer, but make sure you hire the right one. Katie is the right one.

I had found 97 Films online for our 9/23/23 wedding and I am SO glad we booked with them. Katie was extremely prompt in communication and was happy to answer all of my questions leading up to the big day and so fun to work with the day-of. Katie was also extremely prompt in getting us our reel and trailer so we could post on social media (someone said it looked just like a Hallmark movie commercial!). If you're on the fence about the additional expense of a videographer, I couldn't recommend Katie and her team at 97 Films enough. So worth having your big day captured so that you can watch for years to come

It was a delight to work with 97 Films for our wedding. Katie was kind and flexible while meeting with us to make our vision a reality. Katie and her colleague were a welcome presence on the day of the wedding. She even made sure I had a drink in my hand during the reception. They managed to be there with us throughout the day without being intrusive during the ceremony and reception. We were thrilled with the final video and we will continue to recommend this company.

Truthfully, my now husband and I weren't necessarily thinking about video for our wedding until we talked about it with our wedding planner. I'm so beyond grateful he had steered us in the direction of 97 films, because it truly couldn't have been a more easeful and valuable experience. Katie is so personable and professional, she and her team really do such an incredible job, I can't recommend them enough. We had originally ordered our trailer, and once we received that, we added the extended version to our full order because we just couldn't get enough. 97 films adds an artful eye while also capturing the small moments you didn't know would mean so much. We can honestly say, we have watched the entirety of our wedding footage far more than we had ever dreamed we would have and we just arrived at our first anniversary. We're so grateful to have these memories recorded and saved, in addition to top notch customer service. If you're on the fence - highly highly recommend. 100/10.

Katie and the entire 97 Films crew were easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding vendors. Her communication via phone and email was fast throughout the entire planning process and her flexibility was amazing when unforeseen circumstances came up. Her film style was creative, attentive to small details, heartwarming, and upbeat- the exact vibe we were going for. We had a multi-day Indian wedding and she made sure to capture all the traditional rituals that were important to our families throughout the course of the weekend. She went out of her way to come to my house while I was getting my henna done, just to add that into the video and I could not be more thankful. The team was amazing with going off-site with us for some video coverage the morning before the ceremony as well. 97 Films created an AMAZING same day edit film that we played at our reception and it was an absolutely beautiful montage of our wedding weekend- I still can’t stop watching it! Katie became more than just a wedding vendor to us- she became part of our family and truly got to know us as people. She was there to lend a hand whenever we needed anything, even if it was not related to videography. I am forever grateful to 97 Films for giving us something so special that we will treasure for the rest of our lives- 10/10 recommend to anyone!

I cannot say enough good things about Katie and her team! She captured everything perfectly. It felt like she was part of our family. In addition to filming she would ask each family member how they were doing and made sure to check in if we were well hydrated and had eaten during all the events. By the end of wedding week I was sad to not have her by my side! We just got our footage back, and she captured it all! Hire her team and you will not be disappointed!
