74 South at Moretz Mills is a beautiful place and amazing layout, perfect for anyone looking to get married.
It is so big and accommodating for parties both big and small. The venue can easily feel both intimate yet expansive, and truly will fit whatever vibe you are going for. The architecture blends perfectly with the theme and decor you choose for your event. We did a celestial theme throughout the venue and it only enhanced the beauty of this building.

The staff is also amazing to work with. Carol is the best! She is always so eager to help and get your questions answered right away. I'd definitely have another event there!

I can't begin to express how incredible having our wedding at 74 South was! Besides how absolutely stunning the venue is, Carol and Parker are amazing to work with! We booked it in February 2020 for an October 17 wedding, but then... COVID happened😬We were unsure if we would even be able to still have a wedding in our dream venue, but Carol and Parker were there for us the whole way through and kept in close contact with us from February through September when we finally got the call that the wedding was ON.

They made the whole process as stress-free as possible, and you can tell that they genuinely care about the happiness of their couples. We probably would have nervously backed out and created a back-up plan had it not been for how wonderful they are and how beautiful the venue is. I can honestly say I would not have wanted to plan our wedding with anyone else.

It was a perfect day at the perfect place, and I highly recommend 74 South at Moretz Mills to anyone and everyone looking for their ideal wedding venue.

Our daughter Brittney had her wedding and reception at Moretz Mills in October 2018. It is such a beautiful venue and so beautifully decorated. The staff at Moretz was so easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, Parker was very attentive to all of our needs and he went above and beyond what we expected. I would highly recommend this venue!

My wife and I had our wedding and reception at Moretz Mills in 2017. It was an incredible experience!! The entire staff (Carol, Parker, etc) was fabulous. They really made the planning process very easy and straight-forward. We didn't encounter any "gotchas" which speaks very highly of the authenticity of their character and the organization's values.

To this day, people are still talking about how great of an experience it was at Moretz Mills on our special day. We plan to have many more events at Moretz Mills in the near future, as they are a first-class, top notch organization with professional and extremely polite staff. They truly made us feel like a part of their family.

Moretz Mills went over and above any expectations for hosting my wedding reception. Carol Amrani and the staff at Moretz Mills were absolutely amazing. The amount of details and planning that went into my wedding reception did not matter to them. They appreciated all the visions I had for my special day.

The space is perfect for anyone who is looking for a vintage/industrial inspired wedding reception, that allows you to bring in your own caterer. The space accommodates as many people as needed, has an amazing customized bar and the cocktail space is perfect for gathering.

We hosted our wedding reception at 74 South at Moretz Mills in January 2015 and couldn't have been happier with the space and how things worked out. Carol and her team are an absolute joy to work with - so patient, open-minded, and accommodating - and the space they've designed and built provided a great backdrop for us to play with and personalize. We feel really lucky to have had 74 South as an option for our Hickory wedding and can't recommend it highly enough to others looking for a beautiful space and great partner in planning!

We had our wedding reception at Moretz and they were so flexible the days leading up to our big night and also the night of. Our whole event ran smoothly and I think a huge part of this is because of the organization of the staff at this venue. I couldn't think of a better place to have some of our biggest memories take place at!

I also had my bridal portraits taken at Moretz Mills! The venue is gorgeous and has so much history and meaning behind many parts of the building. Carol was simply the best the work with!
