They checked every box I wanted for my wedding day: they were timely, they were kind and professional, they listened openly to me and my bridesmaids if we wanted anything tweaked, and they are affordable. Makayla at 5 Diamond Salon was the most incredible Wedding Hair & Makeup Artist for our special day at Loon Mountain Resort! After my bridal hair & makeup trial, I just knew she was the perfect choice. Not to mention, Samantha was incredibly easy to communicate with & answered all of my questions leading up to the big day. Nicole came with Makayla & did all my bridesmaids hair which also came out amazing! Above all, they are an absolute joy to work with & made me feel at complete ease throughout the entire process. Sam and Courtney did hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, mom, and MIL. Everyone looked beautiful and was happy with their services. I'm most pleased simply by how they truly listen to what you want and execute it flawlessly. It seems obvious, but not all hair/makeup artists do this! I've gone in with a vision to other salons in the past and clearly explained myself, but still ended up with a vastly different look than what I was going for, so I really appreciate when stylists actually listen to what you want! I showed Sam an inspo picture for my hair and she was able to recreate it exactly the first time at my trial. I told Courtney I wanted natural makeup and ended up with just the right amount, not too caked up, and with the most comfortable false lashes I've ever worn. Sam was responsive and easy to communicate with via email to set everything up. Their prices were lower than another salon in the area I looked into and they came out to our venue for a reasonable travel fee. They were both very nice, easygoing, and pleasant to be around both at my trial and the wedding day. Highly recommend them for your wedding hair/makeup needs, I have absolutely zero complaints!

As part of the wedding party I was already nervous. Also I don't wear makeup because my skin usually has an allergic reaction, especially around my eyes. Impressed and very glad to say not an itchy spot came out. Besides, I looked so much better with the makeup. Ah! Then, my hair is thick and curly. Well that went very well. Thanks JC and Nicole

She made me feel so special during my bridal makeup and I am so happy with the final product. Everything stayed on all night, and I felt so beautiful. What can I even say about Sam and her team at 5 Diamond Salon? I booked them with a referral from a friend who swore that they were amazing, and they were! Makayla did my bridal trial and it was absolutely perfect and exactly what I envisioned! I had no doubts that my hair and makeup were going to be amazing! Sam coordinated everything and the timeline worked out great! We had four bridesmaids, two sisters, two flower girls hair, and one mom’s makeup and the timing of the coordination was perfect! Makayla and Courtney showed up on time to our getting ready space and was ready to go! They stayed ahead of the timeline and were so efficient! Our hair and makeup services turned out great and everyone was raving! After they left for the morning, my now husband dislocated and broke his ankle three and half hours before our wedding which turned into a whirlwind of a day, which included tears. My makeup and hair stayed perfect the entire time and I did not require touch-ups after everything that had happened. Everything stayed in place and my bridal party was shocked that my makeup stayed perfect throughout the day! All of this to say, I highly recommend 5 Diamond Salon! They were so fabulous, efficient, and professional! 15/10 stars.
