I reached out to Jennifer late in the game (for wedding planning) about her availability to do on-site make up for 4 ladies. As luck would have it she was available. My wedding day in late March in NH was looking to be a great day up until a large snow storm decided to sweep through the area. Unbeknownst to me Jennifer made arrangements to stay near our venue the night before so that she was able to arrive on time and ready to go the next day in what started out as about 6 inches of snow. I wasn't able to make a trial appointment due to my own scheduling issues so I just relied on her experience to get me wedding ready that morning and she did it. I personally don't wear makeup (ever) and often feel out of my own skin when its applied, Jennifer made me feel comfortable and beautiful in my own skin. My bridesmaids were just as beautiful as she took in their preferences and made us all glow. I appreciate Jennifer's dedication so much, she was so kind and I wouldn't have felt as confident on the best day of my life without her. She was very responsive and dedicated - if you are looking for someone that will make you look and feel great, Jennifer is that person.

This team did a great job from start to finish! I did a trial with them prior to run through to make sure I loved everything, I did! Morning of the wedding they were on time and ready to make my bridal party gorgeous. Super easy to work with, I would not hesitate to tell you to book with them!

Our experience at Behold the Beauty for my wedding was amazing! We went to them at the Margate and had a lovely morning with the team getting our hair and makeup done. It was clear from the start that they love what they do and want to make sure that you are happy with the results - which we were! My hair and makeup stayed perfect all day and night and came out beautiful in all of our photos! Would hands down recommend Behold the Beauty!

Jennifer and her team did my hair and makeup for my wedding (as well as my bridal party) and I cannot recommend her enough. She was timely, professional, and took my considerations into account. She went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. She is so talented and was able to bring my vision to reality. Great conversation, caring, and all around awesome person. 10/10!!

I got my bridal make up done at Behold the Beauty while having my wedding at the Margate. It was super convent for me and my bridesmaids and they did an incredible job. On your wedding day their focus is completely on you and your girls 💕

We worked with Jennifer and she was great! Very fun to chat with during hair/makeup trials and on the day. We made some adjustments after the trial and she was very flexible, including using my favorite eye shadow. All around, she was a pleasure to work with.

We were super impressed and thrilled with Jen and her team from the bridal hair and makeup trial to the highlights I had done right before the wedding to the wedding prep itself. The hair and makeup trial is so important to play around with what works and what doesn’t (in this case, my super-straight and fine hair didn’t want to hold any sort of styling after the trial) so that you can work together to come up with a better plan for the wedding itself. Jen took my feedback to heart every step of the way and the result was phenomenal! She adjusted her technique for the wedding itself and my hair actually kept its style for the entire night, even after my husband and I got caught in a deluge during one of our photo shoots: our clothes looked like we’d jumped in the lake from the rain, but my hair AND makeup looked perfect the entire night!

I had been super stressed because so many artists have a minimum number in the bridal party before they are willing to travel to you for the day-of, but Jen immediately got back to me the first time I reached out to her and put my mind at ease about the whole process! Jen and her team also did a wonderful job on my mom’s hair and makeup as well as my new sister in law’s hair and makeup! What really impressed me is that they made the whole process so much fun along the way! They were even happy to help me touch up my nails that I’d done myself when one chipped just hours before photo time!

Highly recommend for both wedding services and if you’re in need of hair or makeup services in general in the Laconia area!

Jennifer was wonderful from start to finish. She was more than accommodating with any changes and adjustments. She clearly wants her clients to be happy with their experience and without a doubt we were!!

Jenn and Jamie did all of my bridesmaids hair and my make up for my wedding and everything came out amazing. Because it was an august wedding I didn’t want heavy face makeup because I knew I’d sweat it off. My makeup came out beautiful and It was still looking great at the end of the reception. During my bridal trial Jenn walked me through what she thought would look good with my complexion and why and was very knowledgeable about the decisions she made. She also did my manicure and pedicure which came out very nice as well. As far as hair, all my bridesmaids and flower girls had different styles in mind and Jamie and Jenn gave them all exactly what they were looking for. I 10/10 recommend Behold the Beauty
