We are so happy with our choice of Troy as a DJ!! From the very start our first phone call with him, he was so easy to talk to and SO helpful. Troy went above and beyond just a DJ role and really helped us with so many aspects of our wedding. All of our phone calls we left smiling and even more excited for our a big day. The actual wedding went off without a hitch. He was so great with our timeline and announcements. Our dance floor was like no other I have seen at a wedding. Our friends and family have still not stop complimenting the playlist and telling us it was the most fun wedding they have been to, I think a lot of that had to do with Troy. Jack and I can’t thank you enough for all your help and for absolutely crushing it on our big day. We plan to recommend Troy and 206events to everyone and anyone. We hired 206 Events for our wedding. We worked with Troy on the contract, and he introduced us to our wedding DJ, Romie. Romie was amazing! He is a solid communicator and has a ton of experience DJing for weddings. That came through from details like the suggestion to 'play out' the mother-son song early so that we wouldn't need to dance too long, and working with us to identify the exact second to turn up the recessional song. Romie attended our pre-wedding session to get a feel for the venue, and get confirmation on timing, which was comforting to us. Our venue required that we have a two system setup, one for the ceremony and one for the party, which was no problem at all. Romie was efficient in getting me and our officiant mic'ed up and tested on the day of, which was really important with everything else happening concurrently. He nailed the ceremony song transitions, our wedding party grand entrance, and the handling of wedding speeches. Everybody could hear, and we had no sound or feedback issues at any point. And he really shined during the dance party, where he read the room really well in choosing songs to play and he incorporated our married name into some of the songs - we felt like we were the stars of the show. Overall, Romie was professional, talented, and easy to work with. Definitely recommended!

We had such a great experience working with Troy for our wedding! Our venue recommended him and we are so glad they did. He was responsive, professional, and clearly an expert in the field. He even stuck with us after we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. Leading up to the wedding we felt prepared, and day-of he was a great MC and DJ. He dutifully abided by our Do Not Play list, and kept the dance floor packed all night. We had a couple non-traditional elements (walking down the aisle together, private last dance, shoe game, etc.) and he rolled with all of them. I highly recommend Troy for your event! He was the DJ and provided lighting for my wedding at the Four Seasons for around 20 guests. He is very nice, professional, responsive, and organized. He’s easy to work with and has a nice online portal and has you fill out details of the wedding on a form. I also just shared Spotify playlists for him which was super easy so we could communicate the vibes we wanted for the wedding music. He even helped my dad and cousin the day of by providing an extension cord so that our livestream service would work. That was a super stressful hiccup that he helped out with. He had such a energetic and nice prescience and I really enjoyed how MCed and was great at keeping the wedding moving and fun. He also provided really nice lights to uplight our florals and dance floor which really changed the mood of the wedding.

Troy and Chris were incredibly professional and made the whole day run smoothly! They made sure everything was prepared in advance and responded instantly to every need. I've worked with a lot of DJs and I can promise you that they are top notch. Highly recommend!

Where do I start? Troy went above and beyond for us as our plans changed over and over due to COVID. We hired him as our DJ and emcee. From the very first meeting to the day of the wedding, Troy never wavered in his focus on making this day special for us. My husband and I have very different tastes in music but he helped create playlists that included songs that we both like. He worked closely with our caterer, day-of coordinator, and venue so that when the wedding day arrived, we got to enjoy the day and not worry about setting anything up or coordinating anything. His emcee skills helped the reception run smoothly and made sure everyone had a good time! We are so excited to work with him again for our post-COVID reception next year!!
