DJ Ki

We hired DJ Ki for our wedding on 8/2/2026 and we are so happy we did. From the start, he was so nice and the form he had us fill out was very thorough and helped me think through music-related planning I hadn't considered yet. He responded to emails in a timely manner and overall I always felt confident he would do a great job. His timing for the ceremony was flawless (and I had very specific instructions), his transitions were great, and he read the room very well during dancing. He played all of the songs we requested and didn't play any from our "do not play" list. His energy was so kind and positive, he was a joy to have at the wedding and we have since gotten compliments from so many of our guests. At one point I went up to ask him to play a specific song from our playlist and he already had it queued up next! We are so glad we hired him and would do so again for any other event.

DJ Kimani (@360kimusic) was worth every penny! We hired him for our wedding celebration at Stoneburner in Ballard this past July, and he was a pro from the first conversation. We met twice early on to talk through the vibe of the night, then again a few weeks out to confirm details, and his planning form made it easy to lay out our first dance, our do-not-play list, and everything in between. Day of, he showed up on time, set up without a hitch, and carried cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing seamlessly. He worked from our playlists (modern hip-hop and pop, chillhop through dinner) while mixing in his own picks that consistently matched the vibe. His MC'ing also never missed a beat! Speeches flowed, and the timeline stayed on track without anyone feeling rushed. He also read the room beautifully. "Before He Cheats" became a full moment for our best woman, and closing the night on "Unwritten" was a barn burner. If you want someone who listens, prepares, and then delivers on the floor, book him.

We hired DJ Ki for ceremony audio, reception DJ, and MC duties, and he delivered on all fronts. Announcements were always on time, songs were cued perfectly, and setup day-of went smoothly since he coordinated well with our videographer.

He clearly plans everything out ahead of time, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. If you're on the fence, don't be — he's a total pro and made our day feel seamless.

This guy! We seriously couldn't have picked a better DJ! Kimani not only is kind, genuine and knows his music, but he also kept up with our crazy timeline that fell apart, kept the vibe high and did it with ease. We want an excuse to have Kimani DJ for us again. Highly recommend! Thank you Kimani!

Dj Ki was amazing throughout the entire process. We only touched on vibes two times and he hit it out of the park. My friends were asking for his card after the wedding. He had everyone dancing for hours.

Kimani was an absolute pleasure to work with and has all the characteristics you want from a DJ - kind, communicative, empathetic, curious. Day of wedding, he arrived multiple hours early and the first thing he asked us was if we needed any help. Kimani has great taste in music and has a 6th sense for reading the mood of the people and dance floor. He stuck to our playlist and absolutely crushed the vibe. I'd 100% recommend him as a DJ.

Unbelievably awesome wedding DJ! We did not want standard wedding music or tradition and had a few playlists. DJ Ki mixed up the songs so well and was an absolute blast to party with! The music was the only part of my wedding I was uptight about, and he nailed it from music to vibes. Unlike most wedding DJs who have been doing the same old traditional thing for years (I would have thrown up if I'd heard the Electric Slide), I felt like he actually listened to us and worked hard to deliver. HIRE DJ KI for your wedding! He's the GOAT.

Music is so important to my husband and I that we had initially planned to try to DJ ourselves and made playlists for all portions of the evening that were multiple hours long each. Eventually we got overwhelmed and decided we should trust a professional. And we are so so glad that we trusted DJ Ki. The whole process of working with Kimani was smooth like butter. He met with us on a video call and we could tell that he had such a kind and gentle presence and made us feel super comfortable that he would be able to collaborate with us on the songs we loved, curate the vibe, and be flexible with our budget and timing. On our wedding day, he was a total professional and truly rolled with all the punches, communicated with us throughout the day without ever making us feel stressed or rushed, and was a great MC that put speakers and guests at ease. And then he worked his magic on the dance floor. Our dance floor was packed for 3 straight hours and my husband and I only left for total necessities (1 bathroom and 1 donut break). His transitions between songs were fantastic and he expertly crafted the set so that it was perfectly paced and seamlessly drifted from oldies to bangers throughout the night to fit the crowd. And best of all, it was clear that he was having so much fun and vibing with the music just as much as we were, and his energy and joy were palpable. So many guests told us that we had the best dance floor at any wedding they’d been to and that our DJ was incredible. Thank you so much for making our day so special!!
