I just had my wedding at Little Harbor and it was GREAT! Nancy is the Wedding Coordinator I worked with and she was wonderful- very helpful and accommodating in every way. After looking at several venues, we decided on Little Harbor because it was a beautiful location (great photo ops) and it was reasonably priced (there is a premium cost for a Saturday wedding, which in general bothers me because the day of the week doesn't change the cost or the food or labor, this is why it only got 4.5 stars). Nancy did a great job of making sure everything was how it should have been. The staff was warm and friendly and seemed to really take an interest in our wedding. The only problem we ran into was that we weren't told that there was another wedding on the day before and I ended up having to rearrange our rehearsal dinner events, but we were able to work it out and we still had a wonderful weding-eve. Our guests really enjoyed the time they spent at the resort and we were treated well by everyone!
I couldn't be happier that we choose Sheila to be our photographer! She was fun to work with and did a great job with our wedding photos. Sheila has a great talent for catching those detail shots. I also found that she listens to the client's suggestions and incorporates them into her photography. It was an especially windy on our wedding day and I was really worried that our photos wouldn't turn out well, but I was so excited to see that Sheila worked with the wind and used it to her advantage to get some fantastic shots. Additionally, she includes the photos on CD as high resolution images as part of the package and she didn't charge an arm and a leg for this like some photographers do.
Flyboy Naturals Rose Petals South Myrtle Creek, Oregon 97457
I ordered freeze dried rose petals for my wedding from this vendor. They were wonderful to work with. They answered all of my questions and provided me with additional information so that I could choose the colors that would best work with my wedding decorations. These petals were of MUCH better quality than others I have seen on the internet, but they were a but more expensive.
Initially I was a little weary of getting my flowers from a supermarket, but a friend of mine had her flowers done at another Publix and they turned out really nice so I decided to take a chance and I'm really glad I did. I ordered my bouquets and boutonnieres from the Publix at Summerfield Crossing. Beth was awesome! I had a photo of what I wanted my bouquet to look like and Beth was able to copy it perfectly. She also helped me to figure out what would look best for the boutonnieres and how to make my bridesmaids match but not look exactly like mine. I couldn't have been happier with the service or the bouquets! Plus they were about 1/3 of the price a traditional florist wanted to charge me. One thing that Beth did mention is that it's hard for her to work with brides who don't really know what they want/like because she doesn't have a lot of books of photos to share....so if you fall into that category, you may want to consider a traditional florist. If you know what you want or at least have an idea of what you like and know what you don't like then I highly reccommend working with Beth! I also ordered my cake at this Publix and Beth worked with the bakery to get my cake topper and fresh flowers on the cake. The whole staff at this Publix was GREAT!
I did not have any problems at this store. We ordered my gown in December, and picked it up in January. My gown and my bridesmaids dresses arrived in plenty of time to be altered and ready for the wedding. They even stayed open late one night for my final fitting since I did not live in Tampa and had to travel from Lakeland. I also found the prices in line with Davids Bridal and the seamstress was MUCH better!!!! She was nice, friendly and fluent in English.
Chuck is a good DJ who genuinely takes an interest in his clients and that was a great quality to find in a DJ. He coordinated the music for our ceremony and reception. I got several good comments from our guests, particularly that the music was nice because they did not have to yell to talk over the music, this is due to the type of speakers that Chuck has. He also played the trumpet for my walk down the aisle and during the dinner music....this was a nice touch and something different and special for our wedding.
Lily Ana was absolutely fantastic to work with! She has a very warm and calm way about her. Lily Ana was very flexible, offering suggestions and examples, but allowing us to create our own ceremony. I think she would be an excellent officiant for couples who really want something unique or for couple who want to be very traditional.
