Sweetheart Table?? Seating plan??

Leesha, on October 24, 2014 at 4:46 PM Posted in Planning 0 38

During your reception did you have a sweetheart table? Or did you sit at a long table with the rest of your wedding party? Bridesmaids/Groomsmen?

Did your guests sit at round tables or rectangle? How many guests per table?

I think we are going to do a sweetheart table. Our wedding party will sit with their family/signifigant others. Our guests will sit at round tables with 8 guests per table. Smiley smile I like the idea of having our own little table to enjoy our dinner at.

Sweetheart table and loved it! Plus some of our favorite photos are us having intimate conversation at the sweetheart table or people giving toasts with just us there.

We had 8-10 per table elsewhere. Our bridal party was split up and all sitting with their own friends.

We are planning on a Sweetheart Table and guests will be at tables (preferably) seating 8 to a table. i'd love 6 but depends on the space. i don't like to be crowded when i eat and we are allowing folks to bring children so more space may be nice. we will scatter the bridal party with their dates among the crowd. its a crowd of 75 total.

Our tables our going to be round, we are doing a sweetheart table because most people in our bridal party have significant others and we want them to be with them.

    8 people to a table.

its a buffet style. so we dont know if the BP are getting served or what. I dont really care what ordered people eat just as long as theres enough food

We had a sweetheart table. We had our parents and our bridal party among people that they would get along with. We had 7-8 at the 60" rounds and 9-10 at the 72" rounds.

We had a sweetheart table and i LOVED it! I Just loved sitting with him and talking and looking around at all of our loved ones. At one point we looked out and were like ...."wow...all these people are here for us" it was really cool and I am so happy that we did that!

our bridal party was all spread out so that they could sit with their families/loved ones.

We had round tables and ten people could fit at a table Smiley smile

I LOVED my seating plan. It's exactly what I wanted for years before my wedding and it's exactly what I got despite the caterer trying to convince me otherwise.

We had 4 long tables and my husband and I sat right in the middle of the crowd. We wanted to create a family dinner celebration type feel and didn't want to be separate. With 100 people, we had three 8'x40" tables end to end for three of the four long tables, and one had four tables end to end. It looked amazing and I only received great feedback. It was a very family friendly wedding - 4 of the 7 BP members are married with kids, so we couldn't do a head table, so they were all kind of scattered throughout.

We're doing a sweetheart table (banquet/rectangle table). Our bridal party was just too large for a head table. Our guests will be sitting a 72" round tables, so 10 people per table.

We had a king's table (see picture). Our friends in the wedding and their spouses/SOs sat with us. The guests were at round tables with 8-10 guests per table.

We are going to have a head table. Our bridal party is just 1 maid of honor, and 1 best man so it will be the four of us.

Through the entire planning process I have pictured round tables for the guests, they can fit up to 10, but I want to try to do 8 per table. I have been seeing pictures of rectangle tables at our venue and they actually look really good! I may be torn between them now but I have lots of time to go back and forth.

We have 3 childen and the oldest has moved out. I want a family meal like when we were all living together. Just us and the kids. Everyone else is at round tables of 8, in a circle around us.

Sweetheart for us, 2 long tables for 10 for major family; and 15 rounds that seat 8 each.

We are having a full table with the bridal party. Guests are at round tables. Venue says 8-10 will fit I'm only doing 8. Don't want to shove people together
