St Louis, Missouri Venue

Chelly, on July 28, 2014 at 8:51 PM Posted in Planning 0 9

I'm looking for cool, unique wedding ceremony and reception venues in St. Louis, Missouri. We want to have our own food brought in.

Something unique like a warehouse or barn that is $500 or less in rental fees.

Thanks!!

Not sure about the rental fees but my friend got married in the Old Post Office downtown and it was beautiful. I know her wedding was not too expensive, so I would look into that!

Check out craigslist under the events part. There is some place down on Cherokee street? or down in that area that advertises for parties often. Not sure of the cost. You might also put up an ad on there for a venue. I am getting married at the UMSL campus chapel. Gorgeous but not what your seeking.

Honestly, good luck finding a barn. Kuh ' s Farm has one but it's not up to code so they don't allow weddings there anymore, plus the rental fee for the farm is $****. If you're looking for a more industrial feel, Jefferson Underground is cool, but I don't know what the rental fee is.

What Susan said! Other than that good luck. But a lot of places include the food in it's price or some type of perk. I know the St. Ann community center is huge (in the auditorium) I'm not sure of the cost, but it looks nice on the inside.

It's going to be hard to find a place with your criteria in that price range. Take a look at the Hearth Room at the Hawken House in Webster Groves. It is pretty cheap, they allow outside catering, and you can have the ceremony on the front steps of the house and then move to either the Hearth Room or the garden for your reception. I really wanted my wedding there but they were already booked.

Thanks to all. We had already looked up many of these. ..

Old post office had special caterers, Sandy Creek-you can't use the bridge, Jefferson Underground is $4000 just for rental fees alone.
