Show me your vintage engagement ring!

LightBlueGem, on September 1, 2014 at 11:43 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13

Since receiving my 1920's Art Deco period ring, I've fallen in love with vintage wedding rings. I still cruise Etsy vintage jewelry stores just to look at photos of them. Please share!

Here's mine:

My rings are circa 1930s. Both are platinum, wedding ring is an eternity band.

Mine is a platinum vintage ring that was made in NYC around the mid 1920s. There are sapphires on the sides.

WOW these are amazing. I love vintage jewelry. My wedding band was my grandmothers, purchased in 1940 we believe. But it's just a plain gold band.

Mine is my profile pic. It's vintage inspired created by a jewelry out on the east coast. We found it at a jewelry show given by a major jewelry store.

I dont have a picture of mine on me. but it is your basic white gold band, and is not antique. my diamond is an 1800's miner cut diamond that we had set in my simple band. i think its sooooo cool. no one has a diamond quite like mine. the jeweler was stoked when i pulled out the inherited diamond. they informed me that they dont make diamonds like this anymore, it was literally cutby the miner at the mine, so its slightly irregular. i'm a fan, clearly.

Tayler, mine is an old mine diamond, as well. I think that's what I love about really old rings. The diamonds are all totally unique and have a totally different sparkle. I love having a ring with a history.

@tayler mine is a miner's cut too. I think it's so cool to have something they just don't make anymore Smiley smile No one else on earth has my ring.

This is mine. It's from 1910 and it's an old European cut. I absolutely adore it but I don't know what kind of band will compliment it. Any suggestions? I'm thinking something simple with a little curve in it to fit up against it.
