Military Diet...

Chasitypanther, on June 30, 2015 at 12:44 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 31

Ok... so I started this military diet where you have to eat specific foods for the day for three days and you're supposed to lose 10 lbs... I know what they say about the fast diets... that you gain back more weight but I'm gonna see what happens... it doesn't hurt to try right!!! I'll keep you guys updated.....

From what I've heard it's all water weight and you'll most likely gain it right back. It's only good if like 3 days from now is your wedding and you just need that last little bit for your dress.

I tried it though (from rociolaura webpage) but it's really the AHA diet, that I did. (No substitutions were allowed). I followed the diet but I don't think I drank enough water - I only lost 5 and fluctuated slightly afterwards but got on the scale today/yesterday and realized I kept it off (I did it at the beginning of the last full week of May, I believe) - so it's been a month since my first round. I did it again the first week in June ( the end of the week due to my work schedule) and I don't think I saw any weight loss that time around but I feel like I shrunk in inches (I should've measured beforehand to be sure) - however I did mess up the second time I did it (didn't follow it correctly - caved in the last day to some PB cups).

One piece of bread and one cup of tuna for lunch? That's like 200 calories. I would be starving after that.

I have done this in the past (years ago) and it has worked and kept the weight off for a few weeks. But unless you continue it- it's just a temporary fix. I have learned a clean diet and exercise tends to be the best long term solution.

An egg and a slice of bread for lunch? Or and egg, cottage cheese, and 5 crackers? This sounds more like the starve yourself diet. The dinners are the only part of this that I could do and I don't even eat a lot.

I don't understand how hotdogs are healthy for you. They are packed full of salt (among other things). After reading both websites, they said there are no substitutions, but hotdogs? Really?

Danielleesme... unfortuatnly just because it says diet doesnt mean its healthy. No where is it boasting its health benefits just a quick fix to lose some lbs.

Lucy- i do weight watchers and thats about all i get. you get used to it and i still get 12000 calories which is far from starving.

Sara- I agree, thats theonly way to go. Thats why i liked weight watcherse (when i was doing it properly). Lately i have been having trouble.

I am POSITIVE that my daily diet is healthier than that. Ick. Ice cream, bread, and processed meat? No thank you.

This diet looks suspiciously like "how to teach a person to be anorexic without changing their diet." Like Katy said, it's processed food and carbs, there a lot of better ways to lose weight. But I'm sure it will be a great quick fix, good luck.

I don't think weight watchers allows hot dogs. That sounds far from healthy.

Although if the goal is to just lose a few pounds for an event (like many other "diets" like the lemonade diet), then it would work. But not good for a long term fix.

Crash diets CAN hurt. Your metabolism, hour attitude towards food, your ability to select foods and portion sizes correctly, your energy level, your brain functions......

I had food poisoning this weekend and I'm still recovering. I CANT eat as much as I need to right now. I'm tired. I have NO energy. My brain is not functioning well. It hurts
