Indoor Garden Theme

Mrs. Kline (Sass), on March 5, 2010 at 1:44 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 18

Instead of hijacking the theme thread I am posing it here. Incase you aren't following that thread, Rosie and I are both thinking about garden themes but have indoor weddings. So... do your magic ladies. We need ideas. Thanks. ^_^

I just posted on the other thread..anyways I'm having the same theme and the wedding is also indoors. My FMIL will be making small baskets for the favors. I thought abount covering the table numbers with moss. I love the centerpiece that Analy posted but I love flowers. I figured I could just use different types and bright color flowers. But can't figure out what else says "garden".

You could also do potted flowers for the centerpieces. They could double as favors too.

If your venue doesn't have trees, try renting some real or artificial trees to green up the room. Grapevines with leaves and flowers look pretty on your arch or on your head table, or on a garden arch over your cake. A "curtain" of flowers sewn onto fishing line makes a pretty backdrop. Hanging lanterns with butterflies or flowers hanging from the bottom look very pretty if your ceilings are high enough.

You can really move almost anything that you may have used outside indoors for your garden theme. For instance lots of flowers and maybe some hanging baskets of plants and flowers in your colors. Check out my Inspiration Board (Spring Wedding in Blue) here's a link: http://dreamingdowntheaisle.blogspot.com/2009/06/inspiration-board-1-spring-wedding-in.html
