How long did your wedding dress take to come in after it was ordered?

Mine took about 12 weeks. I still look at pictures of it all the time because it's at my parents house.

It look 6 months for mine to come in. I tried on a sample dress that was so small that the back was completely open and they had to tie me in. I hated the pics of myself in it.

It took so long to come in by the time it came in- I almost forgot what it looked like.

Caylin, sounds like yours took about as long as mine will.

K + B, I can't imagine!!! Luckily you liked it when it did come in. It's hard to imagine what it will look like if it doesn't fit correctly.

Ordered in Feb. I was told 5 months but came in early at three months.... I didn't go get it till August.

I ordered my dress in June. I was told it would be in September 6. I got a call about a month later that it was in.

I ordered it April 19th and it came in September 11th! The ladies told me it would take 6-8 months, but by 4 I was dying! Luckily it just took 5.

ETA: Yes I look at my 1st fitting pictures of it every single day!

Melissa, yours just came in! Have you tried it on yet? Did you already have your first fitting?

Yup! I happened to be going up to that city that night because that was the weekend we were going to meet with a florist, a baker, have a tasting with our caterer, and meet with our officiant. It's out of town so we have to fit what we can in when we go. So that was quite fortuitous! I got to have my first fitting the very next day!

Mine took exactly six months. It just depends on the designer as well as where bought the dress.

I feel like an oddball. LOL I ordered mine online on Tuesday, 9/16 and it arrived last night, 9/19. I tried the same thing on in the store then ordered a sample from the website so it wasn't custom made or anything.

I ordered my dress last night and it is expected to arrive in March.

I ordered mine in early February and it was in by early june. So 4 months.

Im glad you posted this--I was wondering the same thing! I ordered a Sophia Tolli dress in mid July and they told me that it would take 6-8 months to arrive...It came in on Tuesday--TWO months! Its a bit scary that it came so early, but I know that if there is anything wrong with it I have PLENTY of time to fix it!

Ill be trying it on next Friday for the first time (post shopping) and will post pics

Mine took 5 months, which is just about what the store predicted. Of course it came in the week a massive project was due, so I had to wait a few days to try it on which was probably worse than the 5 months of waiting! I looked at pictures all the time...I still do since my dress is being held at the shop!

I was told it would take at least a month, but arrived less than 2 weeks later.
