garter removal!

Wait....Remove the garter with your teeth?!?!?! I know I haven't been to all that many weddings but I've never seen that and don't plan to tell my FH that is an option! lol

I've been to a number of weddings and I normally see the groom disappear under the big dress and a few moments later return with the garter. Some choose to be creative and use their teeth and have fun with it, I know my FH is going to really enjoy that part lol!

Lol i dont know if FH has any idea about this.. i dont remember if we have talked about it lol have you seen the ones where they pull out all the weird stuff like big ol superman granny panties? and a measuring tape, or spider webs or someting? i love that idea and think its hilarious!!

We decided not to do it.... we are not doing a flower toss either. I just find them awkward and I dont want one.... I have been to weddings with them and it made me feel uncomfortable, so we, as a couple opted not to.

Thank heavens we skipped the garter toss!

FH let me know he isn't using his teeth.

We're skipping that part and just tossing an extra garter (who wants to catch a sweaty band of fabric anyway?). We're also skipping the part where the catchers have to put the garter on.

We may have them dance together instead... don't know yet.

LOL...DH did the SAAAAAME thing...He didn't understand the concept. He tried to be all formal about it when it came time for it. Then watching him get tangled in all my under garments was fairly amusing as well...He didn't realize there's so much to wedding dresses.

Our friend got a horrible joke played on him at his wedding. They put a blindfold on him, told him to go for the garter with his teeth, but the bride switch places with her mom! Was he mad when he found out what happen...but it was pretty funny

I have a picture of my parents at their wedding, my dad couldn't get the garter off so he got flustered and used his teeth I haven't discussed with FH how he is going to remove my garter, but I am going to have a very simple form fitted dress so I at least know he isn't going to be hiding under all the fabric

Lol we did it and in the pics you can see my dad was yelling at DH...it was pretty funny wish I had video of it

My FH is a little too excited about the whole garter toss part of the wedding.

We're not doing either one. we have maybe 4 single people and we dont think its fair to them.

Oh yeah FH is excited about the garter removal. i asked him does he care about what my father will think. he laughed and said no because i would be his wife!(he made a point) i think im gonna end up playing a joke, blind fold him and put it on the best man (we did it at a wedding before and it was executed perfectly)
