There is one takeaway from this review: hire them.

I’m actually getting a little emotional writing this. Pat and Claire were the first vendors we found after locking down our venue, and they saw us through the whole planning process. They are the kindest, funniest, most down-to-earth professionals you could ask for. Over nearly two years, they offered us the best recommendations for other vendors whenever we asked (because they are CONNECTED and have amazing industry friends). We had a dream team with us on our wedding day almost entirely because of them. We could not be more grateful for that alone.

And then, of course, on the day-of, they were incredible. Neither I nor my now-husband(!) are super comfortable in front of a camera, but they set us at ease immediately. (It was actually hard for us not to smile in the “serious” photos because Pat is so funny.) They wrangled the wedding party and both of our large families with ease and grace and then were apparently EVERYWHERE during the cocktail hour and reception. They got the most insane photos that genuinely captured the joy and fun of the day, exactly as we were hoping for. And they caught even the smallest details and emotional moments – pure magic that we will treasure forever.

Also, did I mention that it rained? Like, it rained a lot. And they got STUNNING photos taking advantage of the beautiful rainy-day light – even though it meant that they were totally soaked, repeatedly. They’re the real deal.

So, I return to my initial thesis: hire them. Immediately. Not only will they capture the magic of your day, but it will also be more magical because they are there.

From the first time we met Pat for our engagement photoshoot, we knew the task of capturing our wedding day would be in experienced and capable hands. Pat and Claire are both extremely easy to talk to, fun, and more importantly, incredible at organizing and capturing every little detail of our wedding. Even on the hottest day of the year, they were able to keep an amazing energy that was easy for us to match, and made taking our pre-ceremony photos both enjoyable and exciting.

After the big day, the turnaround of the photos was incredibly fast, and the online gallery is easy to use, and share with family and friends. We love the way all of our photos came out and our day was captured, and recommend Pat very highly.

We hired Pat and Claire for our September wedding, and they were incredible. Beautiful photos, hilarious couple. They were the kind of people we felt we could be friends with, which made a long couple photo session feel fun and easy. They effortlessly managed our very large and somewhat unruly families during the family photos, which takes a unique blend of patience and a directness. And they took drone shots we weren't even expecting!! We couldn't recommend them enough!!!

Pat and Claire are truly exceptional and we are so happy that they captured our wedding day. After seeing their portfolio online, we jumped at the opportunity to work with them. From their photographs, it was clear that they possess a unique ability to capture the nuance and beauty of some of life's most intimate moments. They are also incredibly organized and professional. During the planning process, we found out our venue was undergoing major construction which had the potential to completely alter where we would take photos. Pat was calm and confident that this would not derail our day and that made me feel so comfortable on the day of. Both Pat and Claire are also such funny and kind people and we couldn't be happier that we spent several hours of our wedding day with them. After the wedding day, they sent us all of our wedding photos within such a short time frame, we were completely speechless. Every photo so perfectly captured the joy of the day for ourselves and our loved ones. If we could do it again, we would rebook with them a hundred times over!!!

We worked with Pat for our engagement shoot and Pat and Claire on our wedding day. We love both sets of photos. They are so easy to work with and are so great at what they do. You must hire them. They give you a very effortless and chill wedding day, which is what we wanted after two years of wedding planning. My husband Ben and I felt like they were family by the end of the night. They blend in so well with your wedding guests and you hardly notice them in the background taking photos. We chose to do a first look and take all photos prior to ceremony. Pat and Claire never pulled us away from our guests to take more photos so we were able to be present and enjoy the whole night. We hope to work with them again or see them again because they are all around awesome people to be around. I wish them the absolute best, they deserve all the success they have and more. (**They also don't take an exorbitant amount of time in getting you your photos back which I know a lot of photographers do, and they are just as busy if not busier than others that take so long and don't lack on the quality either).

What can we say about Pat and Claire that hasn't already been said? They are amazing people and incredible photographers. As soon as they walked in the room at The Wythe Hotel where I was getting ready I felt completely at ease, as if two old friends had entered. Nothing that day felt forced, awkward, or uncomfortable, which you could imagine might be the case when you're walking around Brooklyn in a wedding dress. It just felt easy. And throughout the event Pat and Claire were like secret agents, blending in with the crowd and capturing the moments we will be able to celebrate for the rest of our lives. We've seen a few photos so far and each is better than the next. Sounds cheesy but they were really able to capture our love for each other in the shots, and for that we will be forever grateful. We can't wait for the full set. Go and hire them now!

Hiring Pat Furey was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding, and we could not recommend him highly enough! He is fun to be around, put us and all our wedding party at ease, and captured moment after moment in the most authentic way. I am someone who can be a bit stiff in front of a camera, but you'd never know that looking at the photos he took of us. His wife was also there as another photographer, and with the two of them laughing and smiling the whole day, they set the perfect tone. Do yourself a favor and hire Pat if you're considering! We do not have enough wonderful things to say about Pat and Claire!! From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, they were so fun, professional and extremely talented. When we got our photos, we literally could not stop looking at them and everyone who has seen them has complimented their work. They were able to capture every single amazing moment and we are so grateful for that. I've tried to write this review a few times, but it's almost impossible to put into words just how talented Pat & Claire are. The photos they capture are so timeless, yet edgy, and just stunning. Pat & Claire are both amazing artists and are just top notch humans. They are so kind, professional, and fun to be around. Our wedding was postponed (a couple times) due to the pandemic, and they always were the first to respond with their availability, making the endless date-changing process way less stressful. On our wedding day, we found ourselves in a thunderstorm and both Pat & Claire literally got drenched just so we could get great shots. They made us feel like actual supermodels the entire wedding day, hyping us up and giving us great direction. 10/10 would get married again just to have them capture it!
