Beautiful photos, SO MUCH FUN
We hired Pat and Claire for our September wedding, and they were incredible. Beautiful photos, hilarious couple. They were the kind of people we felt we could be friends with, which made a long couple photo session feel fun and easy. They effortlessly managed our very large and somewhat unruly families during the family photos, which takes a unique blend of patience and a directness. And they took drone shots we weren't even expecting!! We couldn't recommend them enough!!! -

Pat and Claire are truly exceptional and we are so happy that they captured our wedding day. After seeing their portfolio online, we jumped at the opportunity to work with them. From their photographs, it was clear that they possess a unique ability to capture the nuance and beauty of some of life's most intimate moments. They are also incredibly organized and professional. During the planning process, we found out our venue was undergoing major construction which had the potential to completely alter where we would take photos. Pat was calm and confident that this would not derail our day and that made me feel so comfortable on the day of. Both Pat and Claire are also such funny and kind people and we couldn't be happier that we spent several hours of our wedding day with them. After the wedding day, they sent us all of our wedding photos within such a short time frame, we were completely speechless. Every photo so perfectly captured the joy of the day for ourselves and our loved ones. If we could do it again, we would rebook with them a hundred times over!!! -

We worked with Pat for our engagement shoot and Pat and Claire on our wedding day. We love both sets of photos. They are so easy to work with and are so great at what they do. You must hire them. They give you a very effortless and chill wedding day, which is what we wanted after two years of wedding planning. My husband Ben and I felt like they were family by the end of the night. They blend in so well with your wedding guests and you hardly notice them in the background taking photos. We chose to do a first look and take all photos prior to ceremony. Pat and Claire never pulled us away from our guests to take more photos so we were able to be present and enjoy the whole night. We hope to work with them again or see them again because they are all around awesome people to be around. I wish them the absolute best, they deserve all the success they have and more. (**They also don't take an exorbitant amount of time in getting you your photos back which I know a lot of photographers do, and they are just as busy if not busier than others that take so long and don't lack on the quality either). -

What can we say about Pat and Claire that hasn't already been said? They are amazing people and incredible photographers. As soon as they walked in the room at The Wythe Hotel where I was getting ready I felt completely at ease, as if two old friends had entered. Nothing that day felt forced, awkward, or uncomfortable, which you could imagine might be the case when you're walking around Brooklyn in a wedding dress. It just felt easy. And throughout the event Pat and Claire were like secret agents, blending in with the crowd and capturing the moments we will be able to celebrate for the rest of our lives. We've seen a few photos so far and each is better than the next. Sounds cheesy but they were really able to capture our love for each other in the shots, and for that we will be forever grateful. We can't wait for the full set. Go and hire them now!

Hiring Pat Furey was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding, and we could not recommend him highly enough! He is fun to be around, put us and all our wedding party at ease, and captured moment after moment in the most authentic way. I am someone who can be a bit stiff in front of a camera, but you'd never know that looking at the photos he took of us. His wife was also there as another photographer, and with the two of them laughing and smiling the whole day, they set the perfect tone. Do yourself a favor and hire Pat if you're considering! Thank you Pat! -

My husband and I got married at Perona Farm on September 27th, 2019. I myself being a photographer for over 10 years had high standards and expectations to find the perfect team that would accelerate our vision of the most perfect day of our lives. Pat and Claire were the most amazing photo dream team! Months leading up to the event they were always responsive and they were there to answer quick whenever I had a question. They cared about what we expected our day to be like and made it come to life inside our images. They captured every moment exactly how I pictured it in my head. Not to mention we got our images as soon as returning home from our honeymoon which was bomb! The day ran by so smooth. Pat and Claire made us feel like a million bucks. They knew exactly what to say and were just in love with the moments as we were. I especially just enjoyed their dynamic working together while getting the shots. I trusted them and knew our day was in good hands, I wouldn't trade our wedding day in for anything. it was the most magical beautiful day of our lives and I now can remember this for the rest of my life thanks to Pat and Claire. -

I can't even begin to explain how happy we are with our wedding photos. Pat and Claire are not only unbelievable photographers, they were so incredibly amazing to work with! We first met Pat for our engagement photos and knew right away we were in good hands. They captured many beautiful posed photos, but also so many candid photos that really captured the moment. Pat & Claire deserve more stars than we can count. The duo are true artists and have a natural knack for capturing beauty and fun. We were hoping to find a photographer that captured incredible candid shots and when we came across Pat’s portfolio, my now husband and I knew we had to get in touch.
When we first met Pat to discuss our wedding, he was more interested in hearing who we were and what we were looking for vs. telling us what he’d done before and could do for us. He wanted to know our story and after 30-45 minutes of talking about life and work, we felt at home with him and knew that he had our best interests at heart. We’re not at all comfortable in front of a camera and when you look at Pat and Claire’s photos from the day, you wouldn't be able to tell.
Leading up to our day, he checked in to begin coordinating the photos we wanted, the timing for the day, and to give us an idea of what to expect. Much like our initial call, he put us at ease and we were confident Pat knew exactly what we were after.
When the day finally came, Pat was there with his amazing wife, Claire, and ushered everything along, always being mindful of our needs and making sure that the day went the way we wanted. They divided their attention to make sure both bride and groom prep was captured and brought us both together for our first look prior to the ceremony and reception. They made us feel incredibly comfortable, like a bunch of friends were just snapping some photos, which is exactly what we wanted. We had a ton of fun talking with them, making it easy to forget why we were all out in the woods together.
Throughout the ceremony and reception, Pat and Claire were invisible - in the BEST way possible. We know they were there because of the incredible photos they gave us later, but you never would have realized they were working the event unless you were looking for them. They blended in with our family and friends and truly captured the magic of the day. We’ve received so many compliments from our family and friends about our album and we just couldn’t be happier. Not only are they the kindest people but they take their work and art incredibly serious. Their portfolio truly does speak for itself and the work they do. Like I said, I’d give them a billion+ stars. Thank you to Pat and Claire for making our day so perfect and special and something we’ll cherish FOREVER. -

The photos speak for themselves and are always amazing. What is extra special about Pat is that he is kind and great to work with. We had our initial meeting with him and our wedding was actually photographed by his associate, Alexander, who was equally wonderful. He was relaxed, funny, made us comfortable and took amazing photos. -

All discerning couples know this, the process for picking a wedding photographer is a big deal. It’s extremely important to find people who share your style and vision to be sure that style and vision can be captured during your wedding. Liz and I didn’t know how important, and how amazing finding the right partners would be, until we worked with Pat & Claire Furey. We can’t say it much better than the email we sent after they sent us our photos:
“Pat & Claire,
You know this, because you were there, but Liz and I didn't cry during our wedding. We thought about this a few times in the weeks since we saw both of you last and came to the conclusion that we were both excited to be in the moments you captured that there wasn't any time for us to slow down and process what was happening.
Amazingly, wonderfully and beautifully - you both have captured our best memories and we have nothing but thanks and gratitude to share with you. My venue had a few recommended photographers from their preferred vendor list and I did (A LOT) of research on my own prior to calling anyone and setting up appointments. I really was looking for a photo journalist for my wedding. I’ve been to and been a part of a lot of weddings and I knew that I did not want your typical “wedding photographer”. I didn’t want a lot of posed photos; I wanted someone to document and capture my wedding; the laughs, the tears, and all of the emotions in-between. When I had my first meeting with Pat and saw more of his portfolio and got to know his personality I immediately knew I wanted to work with him. His shots are very candid and very real/raw. He does do some of the posed photos for a wedding, but he can capture a moment perfectly and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to work with him and Claire. He’s very easy going and up for anything, not to mention incredibly responsive. If you’re looking for someone to capture all the great moments of your day; Pat is your guy!
