I bought my wife's engagement ring at Worthmore off of a friend's recommendation. The staff there is super knowledgeable and caring and helped me find the perfect ring! I had such a good experience that we went back to get our wedding bands. Same great service, same great selection. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for fine jewelry -

Riley Sent on 10/09/2015Being the future bride, I was not there for the purchase of the ring, but I did go in to get it sized and cleaned. Staff was very helpful and courteous. The place is amazing, very unique and great selection of jewelry. -
User1625686 Sent on 05/20/2014My fiance used Worthmore to make my ring and I visited them after to have it appraised- they were great and their hours worked great with our busy schedules! They cleaned my ring for me while they were appraising it at their Midtown location and took pictures so that I could walk out with it that day. The appraisal came a few days later in the mail and was a nice, professional looking package. It was an overall easy and great experience! -

Nicole Sent on 10/13/2013My husband and I purchased my engagement and wedding rings and his wedding ring from Worthmore. We worked with Glenn and he was a delight to deal with. He was very knowledgeable, kind, funny and not pushy. Peggy was also very helpful during the process. From the moment we walked into Worthmore, we felt welcome and part of their family.
After our first visit to Worthmore (we were just browsing), my husband looked at me and said that this was the place we would get my engagement ring because this was how ring shopping should be. (We had already visited the big stores and felt like a number, unappreciated and got the hard press to make a purchase.)
I love my engagement ring, a cushion cut diamond with a halo setting, and my matching wedding ring. I get compliments often on how sparkly it is. My husband chose a tungsten band that he loves wearing.
I am so glad we went to Worthmore, they are everything we wanted and so much more. -

Ahlia Sent on 06/05/2012My husband and I were referred to Worthmore Jewelers by a friend. What a great decision. My wedding ring and band came from Worthmores as well as my husbands. Prior to going to Worthmores my then "boyfriend" wanted an idea of what kind of ring I would like. I went online and even went to different stores and nothing really "spoke" to me. Finally we went to Worthmores and I basically told them what I wanted and from there they showed me a book as big as a phone book with an incredible selection. I left it in my boyfriends hands and shortly after he proposed. My band is somewhat wide and later on I decided I wanted a thin wedding band. No worries...they were able to make a mold of my band and create one! I'm so happy with my rings and my husband couldn't have made a better decision. When it came time to picking out my fiances wedding band he told me what he liked and they didn't have a ring in the store at the time but was able to order one. I couldn't have asked for better service. They make us feel like family every time we are there. -

My husband and I got both of our wedding bands here, and he got my engagement ring here. We were so pleased with the process of deciding on our options for what to get, and they worked with us to create a custom engagement ring with the stone of my choice. The team is so friendly and nice that I love going back there to get my ring cleaned. I wouldn't say they are an economical choice as they are fairly expensive, but- you get what you pay for- which is extremely high quality jewelry and fast, fantastic customer service. -

I do love their staff, and the quality of their Jewelry is great. I just think that any engagement ring should get one complimentary resizing. I was charged to do 2 resizings. -

Jessy Sent on 11/18/2008My best friend and I were browsing the wedding rings at Worthmore Jewelers. The Gemologist (Peggy) that was helping us asked me when I was getting married and where - when I said Italy she got excited and told us she herself had gotten married there in Florence. After talking about Italy for a bit she mentioned she had used a wedding planner. Come to find out we had the same wedding planner! The three of us were almost crying! The entire time, my best friend Brian and I felt a connection, a sense of security in knowing that this person would take good care of us.
I consider myself an educated shopper - but because of the "romance" behind our initial meet, I found myself trusting this person more than I should have. This is our mistake. When people know they can screw you over, they will.
Peggy and I had been in touch via email since meeting her at the store in person - and she promised that she could match or do better than what I found online at bluenile.com.
On 01/26/2008 I visited the store with my fiance and I selected a .72 ct Radiant diamond set in a palladium setting (worth $250 - which Peggy just selected from a freakin' catalogue!) The total was $3,049.00 ($50 over our budget).
She 'tried' to save us money/taxes by shipping it out of state (Florida). She claimed that bluenile.com had a similar diamond for $200 less than the one I choose but the table depth - or something - was different. Obviously so different that it warranted a $1000+ mark up!
I went home after and I entered all the diamond's stats and all of my search results were valued at around $1700! I shared this on Pricescope.com and they agreed that my stone is worth around $1700 tops!
The ring even arrived in Florida (02/07/2008) I placed a purchase dispute with American Express on 02/09/2008. But because Worthmore's shady store policy, and the fact that they (she) LIED about the details of the purchase they denied the dispute! I appealed but Amex still took the side of Worthmore. Oh, and when I did get the diamond ring it was in poor shape. The stone was crooked, the setting was too high, and the metal was scratched to hell, and the setting was very very thin. It was an insult on top of injury!
My claim that I am within their return policy: Denied
The store says their rules are 7 Day Exchange or Store Credit Only
this means they start the clock the minute it is purchased. Not received.
My claim that the ring was shipped late: Denied
The store claimed that I had asked them to mail it out AFTER they received my property insurance information.
Appeal: I claimed this was untrue - as Peggy informed me that THEY cover the ring until the time of delivery. I submitted our emails showing that I (nor she) had any plans to wait for insurance paper work.
My claim that the ring was NOT modified or custom: Denied
The store claims that Store policy states modified and custom items are not returnable or exchangeable. This item was modified as a loose diamond was set specifically for this customer as per their request
Appeal: I claimed this was a bullshit definition of custom work. I mean, she picked it out from a catalogue!
My claim that the ring was in poor conditions: unanswered
They had no response to this at all. Not one mention of it.
My claim that the ring has a poor certification which is direct influence to its value: Denied
The store claims In regard to value of this diamond, it has been certified by an international diamond grading laboratory, European Gemological Laboratory (EGL). This is an independent authority in diamonds. This insures that there is no question as to the value of the diamond (this is also an appraisal tool for insuring the value of any certified stone)
Appeal: I claimed that I wasnt denying the certification, I was denying its value/worth that it gives my stone - because as Ive mentioned, and sent proof of - EGL is not a respected certification company.
