Laura is fantastic at what she does. We received so many compliments on our wedding cake. It was exactly as we contracted and executed almost flawlessly. Laura offered many non traditional cake flavors. We ordered a Strawberry Margarita wedding cake and our anniversary tier will be in Amaretto! I would recommend Laura to any and everyone.

Laura does an outstanding job with fondant!! She was easy to work with. Our only problem was that she did not make it clear that the florist was to place the flowers on our cake, not her, and therefore we arrived at the reception with no flowers and had to ask a friend to quickly arrange them. Our florist had mentioned that most cake decorators did not want the florist touching their cakes and that had been our experience with the cake decorator for our other daughter's wedding. I would still recommend her but just make sure you are aware of the details.

Laura did a FABULOUS job on my husband's groom's cake. He is gluten intolerant and cannot have wheat, so a traditional cake was out of the question for our wedding. Laura made him a DELICIOUS Ironman triathlon logo cheesecake that was covered in dyed white chocolate fondant. It was amazing! We still have people talking about the cheesecake, and we proudly tell them to get it at The Flour Garden. Laura was a joy to work with, and she is a brilliant artist. You will not be disappointed!

Laura did a wonderful job on my wedding cake and the groom's cake. My husband was very specific with what he wanted for his cake (Neyland Stadium) and Laura did an absolutely wonderful job. It was so realistic looking that we didn't want to cut into it. She was even more than willing to dye the cake the correct color.

My cake was wonderful as well and once again she was more than willing to make what we wanted and it tasted wonderful as well!

If you have a vision, she will make it happen!

Laura was more than happy to work with me on my cake and designed one to fit my unique taste. I did not want a traditional wedding cake. I chose a three tier, red fondant with black embelishments and silver balls, cake. One guy said he went over to the table with the cake and thought it wasn't real because it looked so cool. He had only seen typical cakes I suppose.

The cake tasted great too. Most people go with buttercream icing, but the fondant was excellent.

I would recommend Laura to anyone on a budget who wants a great looking cake.
