I’m not sure which was better—the cake or the experience. The customer service was exceptional, turn around time was quick, appearance was flawless, and the price was more than reasonable. The cake was so light and fresh it was hard to stop eating it. It was clear from the taste, appearance, and service that Myra made our cake with love for a very special day. I would trust all of my special moments to Designs in Sugar!

I was amazed by the taste of this cake. Part of the cake was rice krispies treats and it was so good. Everyone that tasted the cake was amazed by the taste and what it was made of. I would definitely purchase another cake from her.

I can't brag enough on how Ms. Govea de Arce worked with our daughter on designing the wedding cake of her dreams. She was supportive and made the extra effort to ensure the cake was exactly what Cayley wanted. The best part was, that not only was it beautiful, it was delicious. I have never attended a wedding where every last bite of the cake was eaten. It was simply that good and our friends still talk about it a year and a half later.

You will never be sorry if you choose Myra to make your cakes. Not only is she as sweet and wonderful as her cakes, She is a women of integrity delivering above and beyond what you ask. Ordered a cake from Myra and I never had to think about it again, I could continue planning other parts of the event. She delivered an AMAZINGLY delicious cake.

This review is long overdue. Myra made my wedding cake and our groom’s cake in September of 2016. She was absolutely incredible. Not only was the cake PHENOMENAL and absolutely gorgeous (seriously, everyone still talks about how amazing my wedding cake was,) but she was so kind and professional. She reached out to me multiple times to check on me with my wedding planning & when all was said and done, she was my absolute favorite vendor that I had for my wedding. If you don’t choose Myra to bake your cake, you’re making a mistake. I even got to hug her in my wedding dress the day of the wedding as she was setting up. & I actually remember that moment! Thank you, Myra, for making the best tasting and looking cakes around and for being an incredible woman. I’m thankful for you! God bless you always!

Side note: her pictures do not do her cakes justice. Seriously. They are the best.

Firstly, Myra is the nicest person and made me feel instantly comfortable. You just know she will take good care of you. She obviously specializes in fondant and special designs as you can see in her pictures. We wanted something simpler- a textured buttercream icing on a 3 tier cake. I showed her some photos and she did her magic. The cake was gorgeous. I had multiple guests come up to me to say how good the cake was. Also her pricing was better than anywhere else I found. Hire her- you won't regret it!
