I want to share how awesome it was to have Bong photograph our elopement. It was an incredibly value and he was flexible, warm, kind, funny and took many beautiful photographs. It was a very intimate, low-key, spontaneous and joyful event and he captured the feel and mood masterfully. I can't recommend him enough!

Bong Lee was very professional and provided exactly what his packages offer. For a one-person shooter, he was able to capture many of the highlights, but his strongest suit is the posed photographs. He offers a more traditional wedding photography style at a great value.

We were very impressed with Bong. I received my picture CD last week and I couldn't believe how many shots he took! Photobisou was fantastic! We had a small ceremony and reception at home and Bong spent the entire day at our home. He took so many unique and beautiful pictures and we hardly knew he was here. We are thrilled with the pictures he took and would definitely recommend his services!

Bong was great! I was a little nervous at first but he arrived early, getting prep pictures, he was so calm which was just what I needed. During the ceremony my guests commented on how "invisible" he was not getting in front of guests, slipping in pews to get great shots, and getting everyone to smile (real smiles not those fake do I have to smiles). Mr. Lee is a great photographer and he really does try to get as many of the best shots that he can. He is really patient and unobtrusive. Ive looked around alot before I found him for our photographer, and for the work that he does with the costs, you cant really beat it.

Bong was a pleasure to work with! He's super friendly and very professional. I was looking for an affordable photographer and majority of the photographers I searched for were $2,000+. I came along Bong's website and was amazed at his package prices. I only paid $550 and he stayed with us from 11:30 am to 9:00 pm. He's very flexible and nice. Everything ran smoothly on our wedding day. The wedding photos were sent to me within a couple weeks. His photos are simple yet beautiful! I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Bong was extremely responsive to emails (he responded practically a couple minutes later each time). I was definitely impressed and I highly recommend him! I can't thank him enough for his service!

If you are looking for a cheap photographer with quick turn around who will give you a ton of pictures then Bong is your guy. If you are looking for someone who will capture important moments and create beautiful photographs you can display in your home...keep looking!

We went with Bong because of his price, reviews, and we actually loved the photos in his portfolio during his presentation...we were greatly dissapointed. While he is friendly and on time he seems to lack something required to be a wedding photographer. He seemed frazzled our entire wedding day and could really use an assistance's help. He suggested only a few poses and after getting our cds of pictures it was clear that was because he didn't know how to pose bridal parties or large groups. We were too excited with too much going on our wedding day to realize it, but he also didn't take the time to have a mini photo shoot of just us...you only get married once (hopefully), and I don't have a single photo, traditional and posed of my husband and I to frame. A professional would have pulled us aside at a calm point to ensure that we had photos of just the two of us...we got married on the water - sunset would have been a perfect time for this.

At the reception he would take the same photo another person was taking so I have about 50 pictures of groups looking at someone else's camera...seems like an incredible waste of time. I was highly dissapointed in the work product we received from Bong. In retrospect I wish I would have paid a little more and got a more professional and artistic photographer. Perhaps than I'd have frameable photographs instead of "candids" in which everyone is looking at their friend who put the group together and is taking the picture. Currently I'm having difficulty picking enough photos that I even like ( I don't love ANY) to fufill the print package!

Hi Bong. Thanks for your response to my review. Though I think a personal email would have been a better response. I also do not like my full name being posted on things - this includes the gallery on your site and the email you posted in your review (so if you could edit your review to remove my last name it would be greatly appreciated). I also would prefer if my photos weren't directly linked to wedding wire. I understand that I noted that overall I like a more photojournalistic style, but that doesn't mean you don't take time to have posed pictures with the bride and groom(on our first meeting I said I wanted posed pictures as well). I wanted a mix of posed and candid and expressed that in person. As I knew you tended more toward traditional I wanted to make sure you were comfortable with photojournalistic as well, since those were not included in your presentation...thus the context of my email (that you posted on weddingwire) before securing you as our photographer. I also wanted to ensure there would be minimal cheesy poses (ie Charlie's Angels) since those seem to be your go to in past weddings.

Our list of "formal portraits" is as follows:

1. Pic of us with Les' family - mom, dad, brit and bob
2. Pic of us with my family - mom, dad, tina and matt
3. Pic of us with Les nana - will have to take place at the reception.

5. Pic of both families and us as larger group
6. Bridal Party Shots - fun pictures playing some sort of game on the beach and a few normal posed shots
7. Boys shots
8. Girls shots - on the boardwalk earlier in the day -
9. Shots of us

So I ask you where are our formal shot of us - #9. Not to mention the shots of the bridal party and family were so poorly posed that you can't see everyone. As a professional photographer I would think you would know better posing techniques etc to fit a larger group as opposed to straight across so you can't see anyone's faces clearly. That's just one reason on my review that I suggest that you may do better with an assistant. I will say that the shots of the girls on the boardwalk are what I requested. I also liked the getting ready photos. All other portraits I am very dissapointed in. I also think that more so than miscommunicating you seemed frazzled throughout the day - something pointed out to me by many in the bridal party and some guests.

Mr. Lee was very professional, responsive and flexible. I would recommend him highly to all brides. He made it very easy to trust him and he completed phenomenal work. His value far exceeds his cost and he offers many packages that can suit any budget.

Wonderful person and photographer!! We were so impressed with and grateful for the memories that Bong captured on our special day. We recommend him without reservations! His style is fun, imaginative, and unobtrusive. I was surprised with some of the photos because I did not remember him being there, but he definitely was EVERYWHERE! Bong was really great. We chose him because he was affordable, but he was actually really fun to work with on our wedding day, and we now have hundreds of photos to look back to years from now. He got back to us with the edited photos faster than we anticipated, and the turnaround time once we picked out the photos we wanted as prints was also incredibly fast. The value of his photo package really can't be beat - I highly recommend him for a couple on a smaller budget.

Bong was awesome! I was a girl on a budget, and while photographs were important to me, I could not spend much over $700 for a photographer. I found PhotoBisou on Wedding Wire, and he had a package for all day coverage plus prints for $550. I met with him, and he agreed to drop the prints from the package and only charge me $500. That was just right for my budget! The pictures on his site were pretty good, especially for the price range, and he seemed really nice when I met with him, so I decided to go with him.
Bong showed up at the hotel exactly on time even though I was running a little late. He immediately started taking shots, and he didn’t stop until I told him that he could go home. Yet, he was never in the way of me or my guests. Sometimes (especially during the getting ready stage) he suggested certain poses, but it was never intrusive. Plus, he had no problem with other people taking pictures while he was doing the formals. Wonderful!
About a week and a half after the wedding, I got two disks in the mail that included all 1000 or so shots. I have the rights to all of them! There were some really, really good photos in the group, and I’m confident that I can make photobooks or whatever I want from them!
I definitely recommend Bong and PhotoBisou. He was wonderful!
