Joanne is fantastic, and it was such a pleasure to work with her from our first introduction through our planning conversations and at the center of the "getting ready" flurry! She was thoughtful, punctual, and of course made me feel more beautiful than ever walking down that aisle. Joanne McDonough did an amazing job on my makeup the day of my wedding. I was upset because I developed a cold sore a few days before but Joanne covered it like a pro. You can't even tell I had one in any of the pictures and I felt so beautiful and happy all day/night long. She convinced me to try false eyelashes, and I am so happy I did! She really knows what she is doing and did a fantastic job. She even gave my flower girl a complimentary lip gloss which she was thrilled about!!

I cannot imagine my wedding without Joanne of Joya Beauty. In the months leading up to the event, my regular facials made my skin look great. My make-up consultation for my bridal look was fun and even educational for me. Joanne was very flexible to customize my look. On my wedding day, she was a calm presence. I am so happy I hired Joanne of Joya Beauty for my wedding day make-up. She really does an exquisite job. She drove up bright and early the morning of my wedding and did the makeup for myself, my three bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law. Everyone looked stunning. My mother never wears makeup, and Joanne did such a great job with her makeup, especially. She did not look overly done, or even like she was wearing much makeup at all, which was just perfect.

Joanne is very friendly and knows just what she is doing so you don't have to worry; you can relax, knowing you're in good hands as she will make you look gorgeous, like the best version of yourself.

Joanne was by far the BEST make-up artist I've ever had! She is just simply fantastic to work with. She is fun, energetic and so eager to make you look your best! At the time I worked with her, she had experience a great loss in the family, but was still professional and responded to all my e-mails without a miss. She is an outstanding lady.

She offered to meet with her as many times as I needed to before making a final decision. However, she is so good at what she does, that it only took one trial to get it right. My make-up was amazing. Looking back at the pictures, my make-up looked exactly the same from the beginning of the ceremony all the way to the end, even after dancing and A LOT of sweating!

She even danced with me while doing my make-up. She is just a ball of energy and joy to be around. All of my bridesmaids loved her, I had to have do their make-up too, she was just too good to pass up having her do everyone, even though they practically looked as good as me!

I can't say enough good things about Joanne, other than you would be crazy to NOT go with her. She was worth EVERY penny! I'm so happy with how I look in every picture because of her.

I would highly recommend Joanne at Joya Beauty for anyone getting married. She met with me numerous times before the big day to ensure that I would be happy with the final product. She made each of my bridesmaids look gorgeous and my mom was simply glowing. She even had special "fairy dust" to keep the flower girl happy:) Joanne made me feel as if I was her top priority each time I met with her.

Joanne McDonaugh is one in a million! She is so easy to be around, which is exactly what a girl wants from her wedding day makeup artist. She was so thoughtful in selecting the makeup for my wedding, and really chose products that "worked" for me. I felt like my best self that day-- the prettiest version of me, not like I was playing dress up or impersonating someone else. And, best of all, she made me a touch-up kit personalized to my needs, so my sister could fix my makeup, but I didn't need a touch-up at all, even though I cried and danced like a maniac. I wish I could have Joanne make me up everyday, not just for the way she made me feel, but also because I like to be in her company!

Joya was absolutley worth every penny! I have never looked so good:) She took her time and did an amazing job. She choose the most flattering shades and colors just for me and my big day. She has a fabulous personality! She was so much fun to work with and I would recommend her to anyone!
