The Grand Oaks Event Center is a beautiful, fabulous place to have a wedding and or reception. My daughters reception and cocktail hour was there June 1, 2013. The event coordinator Cori was exceptional and very professional. She helped us with every step and was extremely nice and fun to work with. Peggy the owner and her husband couldn't have been any more accomidating and was so helpful. They were all with us every step of the way through the planning and the entire evening. Everyone at the reception commented on how beautiful the Grand Oaks was and how wonderful the reception was. The entire evening stayed on time with our schedule which was a huge success with dinner and having enough time to just dance and have fun. I think the Grand Oaks should be #1 in Columbus for wedding venues.

Well, this was our first wedding and when we found Grand Oaks, that was it! Nothing else measured up in terms of surroundings (gorgeous), food (delicious), price (very reasonable), or ease (friendly competence). My husband and I wanted a nice event for our daughter, but we didn't want to go into debt for it. After pricing renting a room and getting a caterer, Grand Oaks came up right in line and they took care of all of the details! The owners, Peggy and Randy, are the kind of people who know what they are doing and I am sure we have made friends for life. Along with their staff, they made sure we knew the timelines, the choices, and they helped us plan the event the whole way. They have items to rent and Items to just borrow. (We even contributed our vases for the next family who might want to use them!) We were overwhelmed with the food. Our guests complimented every dish. It was delicious & fantastic! The staff was always pleasant and helpful, making me feel so proud to be the hostess! They had hors d'oeuvres waiting in the Bride and Groom rooms for the wedding party prior to introductions. The details were what amazed everyone. The owners and staff were available to us for questions throughout the planning and especially that night. We just simply enjoyed ourselves and accepted the praise! Our daughter and her husband had smiles on their faces the entire day. It doesn't get much better than that.

Grand Oaks Event and Business Center is one of the most beautiful and accommodating venues neighboring Columbus, Ohio. It is awesome for many reasons which include its beauty inside and out; various types of planner packages; close to the interstate for quick and easy travel; a very hospitable staff and more. My clients and all attending wedding reception guests were in awe with the "GO" combined with my works. As an event and party coordinator Grand Oaks Event Business Center is a coordinator's dream come true!

Grand Oaks is the place to get married at and to have a reception. The staff was awesome and very personable. They helped my husband, mother and I throughout the duration of planning, We were searching high and low for the perfect venue that had a nice staff and amenities, I googled reception venues and saw Grand Oaks. The pictures were breathtaking. We had to see this place that noone has mentioned, We booked and appointement and saw the venue in person and from there it was history. It made me feel like a princess, with the swag ceiling decor, the crystal chandelier spacoius parking lot and dining area, very nice bathrooms and they even give you an option to set up games on the outside patio so the guest would not be confined to one room. Also, you do not have to worry about sharing your day with other brides at this venue, This is a very private and seccluded venue This is a must see. Haley was our first contact at Grand Oakes and Cori took it over from there. Cori was awesome and I was so glad to know that she has had experience with all types of brides. I know it can be challenging, but she (the staff) handled it in a professional manner. I am pleading if you are looking for 'the' perfect venue, choose Grand Oaks, Also, the caterer, Simply Delicious is super awesome, Ther staff was friendly and personable as well. I would highly recommend Grand Oaks and Simply Delicious. If we have another event, we will choose Grand Oaks and Simply Delicious.

Grand Oaks is a great place for a wedding reception! Ours was wonderful! I continue to get comments from family and friends how great the reception was. Grand Oaks provides a beautiful and elegant location with unique amenities (cornhole, big screen, putting green, etc) to keep your guests entertained until the wedding party arrives, and even afterwards! Grand Oaks is a beautiful facility! The staff are all very nice and helpful! Cori is awesome and very quick to respond with any questions that I had! As the mother of the bride stress is a must! I have three daughters and this was my last to get married. I have to say each time we used different venues and Grand Oaks was by far the best price and the best quality of service. The venue is beautiful and the staff is friendly and professional. It was so nice to have someone in charge besides me! They had everything running so smooth! I want to thank them for everything, and the wonderful help they gave us. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue. I know from experience that it is by far the best venue I have ever been to and had the wonderful opportunity to work with!

The venue is beautiful, everything about it is the bomb I couldn't of picked a better spot for our ceremony and reception. All of our guests kept asking us where you find this place at. Lol! We are very satisfied with their services from Grand Oaks and we recommend the place to EVERYBODY!!

If you live in the central Ohio area this is the place you want to have your wedding or any other event. This was my first time getting married and I had no idea where to start. The owners Peggy and Randy Mosher and my event coordinator Cori Rapp were amazing helping me with every little detail. They truly made us feel like we were a part of their family. We could not have picked a more beautiful place to have our wedding.

We highly recommend Grand Oaks for your wedding venue. The facility is spotless and well thought out, the catered food was delicious, and the staff bends over backwards to help. We feel so lucky that we found Grand Oaks (by accident) for our daughters wedding. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. They're a hidden treasure. Check them out and I'm sure you'll agree.

Grand Oaks was a fantastic place to get married! As the groom, I wanted to have somewhere nice but fun for friends and family as well. We used the outdoor space with the Gazebo to hold our ceremony and it was beautiful! they also have a mic and speaker system outside for use. They provide nice wooden chairs to be used so there's no hassling with multiple rental companies. With weather as a concern, there is a nice area inside to have as a backup. There is also a putting green and cornhole boards available which everyone had fun with! There are very nice rooms for both the bride and groom (and wedding party) to get ready and relax in. The hall for the reception is gorgeous and there is a dance floor with some color wash and sound activated LED lights. There are drop down screens that can be used but disappear cleanly when not used. The staff was fantastic and help make sure that every detail has been thought of and planned. Overall just the best experience that we could have asked for with our wedding. It seems that Grand Oaks thought of everything when it comes to making your wedding day perfect!

FYI, we used AddVision Photography who has shot here many times and know just what pictures to take, great photographers!

All of my dreams came true when i found Grand Oaks. It was the best day of my life and they made sure it was everything i had hoped for and more. The owners, Peggy and Randy, are wonderful. Cori, my event coordinator was always cheerful, easy to be reached and very helpful. My wedding went so smooth, I don't have one complaint! If you are looking for a formal elegant wedding, the grand ballroom is absolutely gorgeous. If you are looking for an outside wedding, with the gazebo and their beautiful landscaping, they can accomodate that as well. I would recommend Grand Oaks to anyone and everyone!!

My wedding turned out perfect thanks to the Grand Oaks Staff, they were there to help me every step of the way. The venue is amazing and I recieved a million compliments on how everything turned out on Our special day. All my needs and wants were found in Grand Oaks and it couldn't have been more beautiful. They truly took care of everything and made sure everything was perfect. Grand Oaks is a place where all your dreams come true.

After 1.5 years of engagement, my fiancé and I decided to tie the knot on Sunday, April 15th 2012. As we planned our wedding, we always knew that 1) we wanted an outdoor ceremony, and 2) we wanted both the reception and ceremony to take place at the same venue. As we began our venue search, we quickly realized that while there are numerous venues in the Central Ohio vicinity, few served to meet our needs while staying within budget.

I found Grand Oaks Event and Business Center while searching through venues on weddingwire.com. I had previously found a venue in Gahanna that my fiancé and I fell in love with. However, after nearly 2 months of speaking with this venue, they informed me that my date was “already booked” about 30 minutes after I sat with the manager and paid the deposit! They said that they did not check the calendar, and accidently overbooked, which immediately proved they were unorganized. I was devastated, knowing that I had to start from square one. When I found Grand Oaks, Haley Bateson, my event Coordinator, scheduled me to tour the venue on a late Thursday (which was perfect for my work schedule). Although I ran a bit behind, Haley remained extremely cordial, professional, and enthusiastic. Haley’s demeanor and positive attitude instantly sold me, in addition to the PERFECT setting of Grand Oaks. If you are looking for a venue that is undeniably personal, affordable, and built to dine Kings and Queens, you do not need to look further than Grand Oaks! Needless to say, it is not just the breathtaking and exquisite scenery and greenery of the venue that sold us. Throughout my 7 months of working with Grand Oaks, I developed an amazing respect for EACH AND EVERY employee of Grand Oaks, including the owners, Randy and Peggy. Half-way through my planning, we found out that not only were we expecting a great wedding, but we were also expecting our first baby together. One can’t imagine the pressure of planning a wedding AND planning for a newborn! Nevertheless I can honestly say that Haley and the Grand Oaks crew made planning my wedding stress free, enjoyable, and undeniably worth all of my hard work planning.

In terms of the venue itself: it is set and built for Kings and Queens! The outdoor setting features an oversized patio with a beautiful fireplace for evening weddings, and Grand Oaks provides games for children and guests during cocktail hour (corn hole, golf-putt, etc). Additionally, the Bridesmaids Suite and Groom’s rooms are perfectly spaced for large bridal parties (our bridal party was 16 deep!), and they even provided complimentary Champagne (non-alcoholic for me and baby, of course) for relaxation prior to the wedding. There is a piano that is programmed to play specific varieties of music for the cocktail hour, which also saves the expense of paying extra for a band. There are also flat screens throughout the venue for slideshows and pics to be played during the reception. The grand ballroom is perfectly lit and spaced for a large number of guests, and when completely decorated, words can’t describe how superb and personable this room becomes.
For the money you would spend at other venues, Grand Oaks, I found, provided the absolute best value and package options to make a perfect wedding date. There were NO hidden charges: everything was disclosed to us upfront, and each time a change was made, Haley emailed me an updated invoice which allowed me to track my wedding expenses a lot easier. Additionally, I loved how Grand Oaks provides a wide variety of Caterers to choose from so that you are not restricted to one Company. There are add-ons (for lighting, decorations, table settings, etc.), but what I loved about the add-ons is the more you add, the bigger discount you received which also lightened our wedding expense.

I can honestly say that NOT ONE day passed where I was stressed about the planning process. Haley and Grand Oaks literally took care of EVERY single detail of my wedding: I simply provided my vision. Haley remained in direct contact with me, even when she traveled to Florida to participate in her friend’s wedding. In her absence, Cori stepped right in and I never felt like I was alone in this process. I even received personal emails from Haley that were totally unrelated to the wedding, just to check on me and my unborn child. Together, Haley and the Grand Oaks crew absolutely PERFECTED my wedding day from Day 1. On the day of the wedding, I arrived early to make sure everything was set in order. The only problem was, THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me to do! I dropped my decorations off on Saturday, and the following day of my wedding, Sunday, the outdoor setting was flawless: beautiful green landscaping, chairs set up perfectly, and the gazebo was beautifully decorated with the décor my mother provided. Grand Oaks tracked the weather the week before, and Haley updated me with back up plans in the case of rain, which was extremely re-assuring. Another thing I loved about Grand Oaks is that it was not just Haley that made my planning process stress-free. Every member of the Grand Oaks team GENUINELY cared about my ceremony and reception, and they were ALL present to ensure that every single detail was flawless. If there was a hiccup on my wedding day, I still don’t know about it, because both Haley and Peggy refused to interrupt my day with little distractions. Even after the wedding, I continued to receive emails about my baby, the honeymoon, and a beautiful card and wedding gift from the Grand Oaks team. There are no words to describe my sincere gratitude to Grand Oaks: they have an absolutely remarkable team, and their working dynamics are absolutely incomparable: good luck finding it anywhere else!

As a control freak and perfectionist, I spent every day in a nine-month time period planning the details of my own wedding; from the bridesmaid and flower-girl dresses to the save the dates and invitations. We even made the centerpieces and bridal bouquets, and thanks to Grand Oaks, none of my hard work was done in vain. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Haley Bateson, Cori, Peggy and Randy, and anyone else that represented Grand Oaks. My family raved about the beauty of Grand Oaks, and because Grand Oaks is relatively new compared to other aged venues, not many people know about it. So I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone reading this review to book a tour with Grand Oaks if you are searching for a venue that is affordable, PERFECT for outdoor/indoor ceremonies, and are looking to work with a group of individuals who are willing to accommodate you in every possible way to make your wedding day perfect and unforgettable. Grand Oaks is a hidden gem located in Grove City. The venue was absolutely beautiful and it exceeded all of our expections. Our reception was amazing and I wouldn't change a thing. The owners Randy and Peggy are wonderful and you can tell they really care about the success of their venue. I would highly recommend Grand Oaks to any future bride!
