Evelyn was professional from day one! I scheduled a trial with her a few months before my wedding, and when she was finished with my makeup I knew she was the perfect artist for my wedding day. I didn't bring in any pictures, I just told her what styles I liked, the colors of my wedding, etc and she did an amazing job, better than I could have pictured myself!
I booked her on the spot for my wedding. She was always in constant communication and confirming times & location.
The day of the wedding she arrived right on time, setup quickly and got right to work. She had 7 girls lined up and she worked great with the hair stylist. All of the girls loved their makeup, because she fit the makeup to their personality/liking and really listened to what they envisioned themselves to look like.
She was so professional, but also personable! I’ve told all my girlfriends to use her! One of the best!

I got married on October 29-- the day of an unexpected blizzard in October. As you can imagine, I was nervous about how the day would unfold. I want to extend my sincerest gratitude to Evelyn, who showed up exactly on time despite the treacherous driving conditions that day. She did phenomenal work. I never felt more beautiful in my life, my mom looked 10 years younger, and I could not keep my eyes off my sister-- all thanks to Evelyn! Evelyn saved my sanity and made me look better than I've ever looked. She is not only talented, but flexible, professional and responsive!!

My original makeup artist backed out on me with 7 days until my wedding day. I was in a complete panic! I emailed 5 or 6 possibilities at about 11pm on a Sat night and Evelyn replied within the hour. She was very sympathetic and helped me to figure out what I wanted and what makeup concepts would work for me and my maid of honor. She gave me a very reasonable price (she certainly could have gauged me in my desperation) and waived the formal contract and deposit because of the time restraints. We traded pictures and I was doubtful of how it would work without a trial. I don't like very heavy makeup, but still wanted a red carpet look for my evening NYC wedding.

That day, she kept close touch by phone and text (I was running late and she adjusted her travel to accommodate me). She did my makeup SPOT on!! I could not believe it was me in the mirror. She did my mother just as well. What I loved was that she explained what she was doing and why, it would work for my skin tone, or for the lighting or for photos.

She made me look like a model, but more importantly, she gave me peace of mind from the time of her email reply until she finally left our hotel. Very calming, extremely meticulous and extremely good at what she does!

If you want to look absolutely stunning on your wedding day, this is the person to go to. My wedding was on Hurricane Irene (Yes! That very Sunday which had to be postponed to Monday). When I tell you that this woman is not only helpful and professional, but she is also so kind. She was so worried about me, and that showed me how humble she really is. The day of my wedding was nuts, but she accommodated anything and everything that was changed from location to even the style of how I wanted my makeup. She exceeded my expectations. My mother and I looked flawless, and our makeup stood on all day to all night. Lets put it this way, the very next day was my honeymoon, barely had any sleep, went to the airport, and was getting complimented on my makeup at 6 a.m. in the morning lol!!! Thank you so much Evelyn for making my day so special. I am so happy to have found you, and we will definitely be using you again for future events to come! :)

I just got married in San Juan, Puerto Rico and finding a make artist that wouldn't take advantage of me was not easy. I had 3 others cancel on me after the trials and after telling me that they would do my wedding. I was in tears by the time I found Evelyn. She was so nice, it was like meeting up with a friend after years of not seeing her upon our first meeting. She is a woman of her word. She is amazing at what she does and has a heart of gold. Evelyn does an amazing job for makeup. She is very flexible and worked with me to give me the perfect look that I loved. And I never felt like I was wearing too much makeup. It was perfect! I am indian and it is very hard to find someone who can match my face well and do a great job. But Evelyn has a lot of experience with indians. She does a great job!!

I met Evelyn when I first got engaged and I went to her for a makeup trial.. I booked her right on the spot! She is truly an amazing makeup artist! All of my trials leading up to my wedding day were amazing. On my wedding day, Evelyn was punctual and extremely professional. Evelyn was awesome! I loved the way she did my makeup, she did exactly what I asked for and it came out beautiful! I wanted it kind of natural looking but still enough to really see and notice in pictures, and that's what she did, I highly recommend her, she was great!

After months of having bad makeup trials, God sent me Evelyn!! I'm a makeup addict and have very high standards for good makeup artists. Evelyn fit the bill! She has the MAC style of doing makeup and she also does airbrush and will do your makeup on site. She made my mom look years younger! Did an amazing job on my two bridesmaids and made me look like an Indian Princess!!! I had so many people coming up to me and commenting on how beautiful I looked and how gorgeous my makeup was! I loved the way I looked on my wedding day and that's all a bride really cares about!!..:) DONT HESITATE! GET EVELYN and DONT THINK TWICE! She will do an AMAZING job! She is a REAL MAKEUP ARTIST!!!!!
